“Hunter-gatherer culture was the way of life for early humans until around 11,000 to 12,000 years ago.” (www.nationalgeographic.org/encyclopedia/hunter-gatherer-culture/)

Love these chats! Thanks for sharing...
But as for pursuing risk often, to enjoy more life i think..... “Every day the bucket a-go a well, one day the bottom a-go drop out.”
    Enjoy, be safe...

Totally agree, taking risk for exploration is kind of a primal human behavior

I don't know, man, if you need such a high level of real risk it seems like at some point it will catch up with you. No doubt they are incredible experiences but how many of them do you need. It is possible to take risks like that and have a purpose, too. I work as a human rights lawyer and going into war zones with people dying all around you is pretty exciting too. One other thing that someone has to mention. The guest speaks and thinks very clearly and has interesting things to say, but forgets where the camera is and is looking at the ceiling half the time. The lack of eye contact with the camera, and looking off into space, creates the impression that he is really uncomfortable discussing this, but I think he just wasn't aware of where the camera was most of the time, and was probably looking at the computer monitor. You could have given him a break by showing some pictures of the climbs he was talking about, but he really looked trapped.

Poor Colin was pretty trapped in his tiny little apartment haha, but we promise he was under no duress. It's unfortunately not the best video since it was recorded years ago with purely with the intent of using the audio and chucking the rest
