Living in Serbia made it even harder to identify just because of the language barrier. So I live through You Tubers. From the small shops and big box stores that you guys go to. Wish we had that. Martha Tejeda I have the Hindu rope both green and variegated, Kerrii both the green and variegated, green carnosa, carnosa rubra, queen, Bella, obovata, Chelsea, Curtisii, pubicalyx pink silver, wayetii, australis lisa, Krinkle 8, bilobata ds70 and the macrophylla will be #17 when I get it in a few days 🤩. About half of them I was able to find at big box stores near my house or job that I frequently visit a few times a week (3 Walmarts, 3 Home Depots and 3 Lowe’s). I have no garden centers near me that sell indoor plants and there isn’t a plant community near me so when I spot a unicorn🦄 at a big box store I just run towards it and grab it 😅

He's awesome :-) I have a macrophylla already, the leaves are amazing and, quite frankly, I wouldn't be too crushed it if didn't bloom (well, maybe a bit) because, well.... look at it!! I found a little variegated Hindu rope cutting and it's finally got a tiny little shoot coming. I swear, I screamed when I saw it. And you think you're not buying any more plants? Psshhhh, yeah, ok.

The one you got today is the hoya macrophylla albomarginata and the one from the swap is the same hoya but variegata. When it's around the perimeter of the plant its an albomarginata type of variegation and when it is in the center its the typical variegata. I found one of the albomarginatas in Dallas and it's awesome the leaves will turn a redish purple if exposed to ideal conditions! (mine was 20 for a 6" tho heheh)

I don't know where you live but I live in Hagerstown Maryland and we have a supermarket chain called Weis supermarkets and I just discovered they get wonderful plants and their Department. I just found two philodendron mykins in 2 inch square pots for $2.50! I bought both and I also bought either a pearls and Jade or an enjoy and the microphone on my cell phone didn't spell the name right on the second one but they were also in a 2-inch pot for $2.50. They had their orchids on sale two for 18 but if you bought one that was $16. They also had some gorgeous house plants two weeks ago instead of being $18 they were twelve and they were even in a cachepot so no worries about getting the floor wet. I also got a fiddle leaf fig and a small pot I guess it's like 6 in tall and it was $5... I got a chocolate syngonium that's in a 5-inch pot I guess that was $5. I also got a really cute little syngonium for $2.50. Check out your supermarkets sometimes they get in that rare plant on our wish list amongst an assortment. I haven't had luck getting any wish plants at Lowes or Home Depot like some people do
Of all places a philodendron mikens... I don't think my microphone spelled the word right but I'm too lazy to go back and correct it I like using the microphone on my cell phone instead of my fingers! Anyhow I found it in a 2in square pot at the local Weis Market which is the supermarket 4 get this $2.50 they only had two sof course I bought both of them and repotted them and one pot. I usually don't repot my plants but I wanted to make a bigger plant so I broke my Golden Rule of leave them alone. But I did not fuss The Roots I just left them alone and put them in the pot but I did add soil moist crystals which I always add because it helps with over-watering helps retain water and Reserve if you forget to water and it helps aerate the soil with its expansion and contraction and besides that the plants love it even though it's not a fertilizer The Roots stick to those little crystals. And I also added something new for me and that's osmocote. All the plants that I add that to my potting mix which is half potting soil and half peat moss have done unbelievably well this summer no worrying about putting Miracle-Gro in the water when I water a couple times a month like I used to. But I still use the leftover nutrient solution from my orchids to water the plants and that contains cal-mag a pinch or so of Epsom salts and to about three gallons of water and a magic ingredient I think which is seaweed Emulsion fertilizer it contains trace minerals and hormones and doesn't stink like fish emulsion. Also I add micronutrients to that solution for the orchids and after they soak I use that to water my plants. I also found for $2.50 another hard to find philodendron but not sure if it's Ebony and Ivory or Pearl and Jade or something like that but I know it's not the regular one or maybe is that Apothic pothos I don't know I'm all mixed up right now. I don't feel very good so forgive me I think that's a pothos not a philodendron well got to watch the rest of the video now
I hate calathea! idk why I keep buying them they alway raise my blood pressure anxiety and stress I have high humidity give them distilled water I just dont know what kind of moist they want! I either under or overwater I give up on them I dont need that kind of negative drama in my life 😂

Martha Tejeda I have the Hindu rope both green and variegated, Kerrii both the green and variegated, green carnosa, carnosa rubra, queen, Bella, obovata, Chelsea, Curtisii, pubicalyx pink silver, wayetii, australis lisa, Krinkle 8, bilobata ds70 and the macrophylla will be #17 when I get it in a few days 🤩. About half of them I was able to find at big box stores near my house or job that I frequently visit a few times a week (3 Walmarts, 3 Home Depots and 3 Lowe’s). I have no garden centers near me that sell indoor plants and there isn’t a plant community near me so when I spot a unicorn🦄 at a big box store I just run towards it and grab it 😅

He's awesome :-) I have a macrophylla already, the leaves are amazing and, quite frankly, I wouldn't be too crushed it if didn't bloom (well, maybe a bit) because, well.... look at it!! I found a little variegated Hindu rope cutting and it's finally got a tiny little shoot coming. I swear, I screamed when I saw it. And you think you're not buying any more plants? Psshhhh, yeah, ok.

The one you got today is the hoya macrophylla albomarginata and the one from the swap is the same hoya but variegata. When it's around the perimeter of the plant its an albomarginata type of variegation and when it is in the center its the typical variegata. I found one of the albomarginatas in Dallas and it's awesome the leaves will turn a redish purple if exposed to ideal conditions! (mine was 20 for a 6" tho heheh)

I don't know where you live but I live in Hagerstown Maryland and we have a supermarket chain called Weis supermarkets and I just discovered they get wonderful plants and their Department. I just found two philodendron mykins in 2 inch square pots for $2.50! I bought both and I also bought either a pearls and Jade or an enjoy and the microphone on my cell phone didn't spell the name right on the second one but they were also in a 2-inch pot for $2.50. They had their orchids on sale two for 18 but if you bought one that was $16. They also had some gorgeous house plants two weeks ago instead of being $18 they were twelve and they were even in a cachepot so no worries about getting the floor wet. I also got a fiddle leaf fig and a small pot I guess it's like 6 in tall and it was $5... I got a chocolate syngonium that's in a 5-inch pot I guess that was $5. I also got a really cute little syngonium for $2.50. Check out your supermarkets sometimes they get in that rare plant on our wish list amongst an assortment. I haven't had luck getting any wish plants at Lowes or Home Depot like some people do

Of all places a philodendron mikens... I don't think my microphone spelled the word right but I'm too lazy to go back and correct it I like using the microphone on my cell phone instead of my fingers! Anyhow I found it in a 2in square pot at the local Weis Market which is the supermarket 4 get this $2.50 they only had two sof course I bought both of them and repotted them and one pot. I usually don't repot my plants but I wanted to make a bigger plant so I broke my Golden Rule of leave them alone. But I did not fuss The Roots I just left them alone and put them in the pot but I did add soil moist crystals which I always add because it helps with over-watering helps retain water and Reserve if you forget to water and it helps aerate the soil with its expansion and contraction and besides that the plants love it even though it's not a fertilizer The Roots stick to those little crystals. And I also added something new for me and that's osmocote. All the plants that I add that to my potting mix which is half potting soil and half peat moss have done unbelievably well this summer no worrying about putting Miracle-Gro in the water when I water a couple times a month like I used to. But I still use the leftover nutrient solution from my orchids to water the plants and that contains cal-mag a pinch or so of Epsom salts and to about three gallons of water and a magic ingredient I think which is seaweed Emulsion fertilizer it contains trace minerals and hormones and doesn't stink like fish emulsion. Also I add micronutrients to that solution for the orchids and after they soak I use that to water my plants. I also found for $2.50 another hard to find philodendron but not sure if it's Ebony and Ivory or Pearl and Jade or something like that but I know it's not the regular one or maybe is that Apothic pothos I don't know I'm all mixed up right now. I don't feel very good so forgive me I think that's a pothos not a philodendron well got to watch the rest of the video now

I hate calathea! idk why I keep buying them they alway raise my blood pressure anxiety and stress I have high humidity give them distilled water I just dont know what kind of moist they want! I either under or overwater I give up on them I dont need that kind of negative drama in my life 😂
