Great message at the right time. The mind is so powerful and put on the whole armor daily especially the mind. The message is powerful for spiritual warfare. it definitely verifies the evilness of man's thoughts through their actions. Definitely confirms how patient the devil is to wait to try to destroy us and don't feed the negative thoughts. We have to send those evil arrows back to senders. Days and times are full of evil people. Just ended a 20-year marriage on this message. The mask came off and the evil came out. Thank you Lord for setting me free.

II Samuel 12
And the LORD sent Nathan to David. He came to him and said to him, “There were two men in a certain city, the one rich and the other poor. 2 The rich man had very many flocks and herds, 3 but the poor man had nothing but one little ewe lamb, which he had bought. And he brought it up, and it grew up with him and with his children. It used to eat of his morsel and drink from his cup and lie in his arms, and it was like a daughter to him. 4 Now there came a traveler to the rich man, and he was unwilling to take one of his own flock or herd to prepare for the guest who had come to him, but he took the poor man's lamb and prepared it for the man who had come to him.” 5 Then David's anger was greatly kindled against the man, and he said to Nathan, “As the LORD lives, the man who has done this deserves to die, 6 and he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.”
The traveler did not come to the home of the poor man, but the rich man. The rich man had many sheep, as v 2 says he had many flocks and herds, but then as v 4 says he was unwilling to take a lamb from his own large flocks to prepare food for his guest, but instead he, the rich man, took the poor man's one lamb.\
The traveler in the prophet's parable does not represent the problem, the parable does not say that the traveler made the rich man take the poor man's lamb; rather, it puts the blame firmly on the rich man, as he was the one who did not want to use his own resources to feed his guest, but instead took from another man. David's anger was against the rich man, and was convicted when the prophet revealed that he himself was the man who did wrong.

After hearing this message I researched a bit about the lust of the flesh and came upon the following verses by Bayless Conley: Proverbs 5: 3 through 11. I took soecial note of verses 9, 10, and 11.. Loss of honour. ..Loss of wealth...and STDs...The first 2 sound like divorce. Thank you for this message. I dont want things coming between me and God as He is my TRUE love. Thoughts are hard because they just seem to come and not always good ones...I guess the anecdote for this...partly is Scripture to cast it down, prayer to cast it out...and the Holy Spirit to lead me elsewhere as we are to remove our feet far from this. God Bless .

What a phony message. David sinned. The traveler was Samuel who pointed out his sin. David repented. Where in the heck did you get this screwed up teaching?

Also this is a parable, that confronts David's sin, the traveler is Nathan, the traveler was has nothing to do with one's thought life. If you want to study on thought life look at ephesians 4 22-32 or Phillipians 4 8

This is just incredible. Horrible exegesis. This is some of the worst misreading of scripture I have heard in years. This brother doesn't seem to have a clue. Sad.
