Interesting… I havent really been into mecha games since Heavy Gear 2… And it’s made by Seasun Games which also makes the gacha SNOWBREAK. It seems like they sort of listen to the community so I’m kinda off expecting something from this…
i just hope it's an actual physics based vehicle sim (or sim-lite) and not just a PvP action game with mech aesthetics. Edit: just read that "what would you buy" questionnaire, there are some okay ones like DLC or pay for full game upfront, but most are pay-to-powerup. they may turn this into a pay to win swampfire.
just to add u can parry n this game with a shield mech, parry basically timing ur block at the perfect time to make the enemy stagger so yeah this game have a lots of skills expression depending on ur mech.
Damn this game reminds me of armored core, i just finished that game too and i thought what if they added a battle royale"mode?" then this announces lmao, i hope this comes out soon
Yea except AC is still the king of Meca, that and... like... no outher mecha game in exsistance does the whole, realistic thing. All outhers do the typical over stylized anime take with flashy lights and obsurd/sleek looking weaponry and mechs. Vs Armored Core that goes out of its way to be different from the rest by being gritty, realistic and industrial but also still being high tech. Giveing it a more hard core vibe than everyone else

I like how this pulls together different mech archetypes together, Tricera looks like a more modern turret mech or something from Metal Gear/Armorcore, Alysnes and Panther looks like Gundams, Falcon and Luminae look like Armor Core mechs and Welkin and Narukami look very indie like I love it.
honestly, i hope they don't do Panther dirty the way Gundam Evolution did Exia. I understand mobile melee units are hard to balance where they're fun to both play and fight against, but it really needs to be able to exert enough pressure to break lines up, as that's their whole function.

Interesting weapon systems. I bet there will be tons of debates for weapon balancing, but I'm pretty sure it will be fun.
There will be more revealed later. All of the weapons felt impactful and that's pretty important!

It seems the welkin has something resembling an FCS lockbox, like in the Armored Core series (especially in ac5)
I wished Falcon transformed more like Zeta Gundam, instead of just the backpack opening up. Still looks great though.

So is Mecha Break like a PvP only game? Cuz I really like how the game looks but I don't like playing PvP at all.
