Safaricom ads have been a cinematic inspiration of their own over the years. Was 7 years old in 2002 and ads didn't' mean much but looking back; safaricom have indeed come a long way. Even back in the day, their ads were still king.
That 2008,at sunset, the boy taking the cattle back...look at that image, isnt it just beautiful plus the sensational background music.Mmmmhhhhhh.....sweet
The agency that used to handle the Safaricom adverts was on top of it's game. Unlike the current one.. They were so lively and filled with emotion. Esp the 2004 one🔥
just had to go through this .,we use to sing the songs on the adverts with my other family members,.the masaai mzee and the beauty of kenya thank you safaricom
The grandma, nimeshinda! Never gets old. And even when we didn't understand what diversity and inclusion, it was clear in the ad from the Muezzin from Lamu that Safaricom was thinking way ahead of the rest.
Ive notice my taste in music has matured, its 2017 and ive just realized the background music playing on the 2004's is Canon On the D Major composed by johann pachelbel & that of 2008 is the planets-jupiter composed by Gustav Holst, the 2 are among the greatest classical music of all time
Kindly post the 14:30 advert in full. The words in the advert changed and touched lives, especially the "Yaleta Mabadiliko" part that featured a school going child.
