This was the best of the night. This song is such a bop, it has those 2010 nostalgic summer bops vibe. I loved her vocals too. My only improvement point, is that she could maybe stand in the prop during the second rehearsal and dance instead during the third chorus to make the song more powerful and to avoid her getting tired already so quickly.
This is very good! My favourite. But I really hope it will be kept in icelandic if you send it to Eurovision. I understand the message and most words because I speak Norwegian, and the Icelandic version is better than the English one. And it would be so cool to hear Icelandic again 👌
I speak Norwegian too, but did not understand anything from the song! Should I be worried? 🙊 However icelandic is a beautiful langauge, wish them good luck in esc❤
Interesting development since last year because the most important entry was the Winner, Powder and this year the music and show level, at least, seem higher! Let see how continue in Second Semifinal👌🏻
Guys plís vote this am in Iceland am from there this is amazing but you can coisa ok sorry about the coisa am ocelnadic í í said but vote for what you want
Söngvakeppnin requires all songs to be in Icelandic. Most artists write separate Icelandic and English versions, and then perform the English version at EuroVision.
Good luck to Iceland In upcoming Eurovision Season a lot of gost songs Just wondering why Daughters of Reykjavik never tryied to participate in ESC ? Love from Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 ❤️ 🇮🇸
she gets my vote , she is singing about strong man in her life and as long as she has her man she has a home , something women have forgotten. if they treat their man right then they have a place to call home and protection.
Everything about this is really good except the sound mixing and the vocals. If the vocal don’t improve, and if the sound mix is the same, then she was no chance of winning imo.
Be wise when picking your artist for Malmö, Iceland Send the one with the best song and performance. Not a political messanger. Dont get into this rabbit hole because genuinely, you’ll achieve nothing.
Eurovision stans are simple creatures. You can just give them typical "bop" and they will call it a masterpiece :D there were definitely better ones in this semi, not getting the hype🤷🏼♂️
@@Pewtango 2 songs This went through as well as Bíómynd. They have the option based on televoting results I think to let 1 wildcard to the final too but I think they have almost always done it. Personally I think these two songs are the best this year. Hera Björk had much better songs in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2009,Eurovision 2010 and Viña del Mar(Chile) 2013.
I’m obsessed with the Icelandic version of this song! ❤
Wow Iceland 🇮🇸 it's you ? GREAT show and this song it's amazing ❤

Mjög vel flutt og skemmtilegt lag 🥰🥳🥳🇮🇸
Favorite of the day!
She has to win the whole contest
Gotta say, besides that slight lag between her vocals and backing, she ATE.
Please, send her. She’s the one. This song is catchy!

Okay the song is basic AF and not the most fresh, but she did perform the house down. And that beginning visual was just perfect.
Ganadora ❤❤❤😊

This one is better if they send this to Eurovision 😢
she looks like Anitta from BR =)
oh this was amazingg, love her she has huge potential but why didn't they perform english versions?
they will in the final
We don't want english
@@armiartaza2188Well ok but her song sounds better in english 😅
@@HristijaneM icelandic is such a beautiful language...why you want the random english?

They did in 2022! They came second in the National Final :)
@embsfx oh I have to check it 😍
frænka mín
Well everything they are need we doing be done..🎉
They should have chose this song.
Þetta lag er nú meiri djöfulsins eyrnamergurinn.
This is god comparing to Murad’s song.
she gets my vote , she is singing about strong man in her life and as long as she has her man she has a home , something women have forgotten. if they treat their man right then they have a place to call home and protection.
Sounds like September - Cry for you. Good performance though!
Yes you ARE right.
some parts are literally copied from Cry for you and that's why this song should not have been allowed
@@kiertavasirkus This may not matter because Iceland may not be in the main competition this year.

Ásdís María delievered a catcy song - don't know about this singer though.

Get real
the two best songs did indeed qualify. My votes went to Bíómynd. Very talented brothers.
I don't see anyone call the song itself a masterpiece even though they like it. However it is a great perfomance and really good act.
How many songs from each semi will qualify to the finals?@@klarinetta

Hmm, looks like every country needs its own Helene Fischer...
Well, good luck Iceland, but who cares about the ESC !?
Nice performance, the vocals are not so good though...
I disagree the vocals were wayy better than I expected, dancing and singing at the same time is really difficult
