- The Mercedes-Benz V-Class is heading towards the end of its current life cycle. That doesn't mean it is going to slowly fade away before a new model replaces it in 2024. In fact, now is the time when you get Special Edition versions, just like this V-Class with bespoke paint and an AMG wind-tunnel-designed roof box.
Do these tweaks make it the ultimate airport or luxury hotel shuttle? Is it even the best van right now? We tested the Special Edition to find out just what you get for a whopping R2m.

I think you guys should start doing the installment breakdown, insurance etc. when you get to the price. It really helps
That's a bad idea. Insurance is a "per person" type of thing. My premiums won't be the same as yours. The same can be said about vehicle finance, my credit score might be trash than yours, naturally interest rates will be different and besides...the videos will no longer be "bite sized" especially for TH-cam, although it's good for viewer retention, it's trash because human beings get bored too quickly. What you are asking is something you should be doing on your own anyway...laziness?

Would rather go for the Kia Carnival. I know the Merc will be better but I doubt the margin is as wide as the price from the Carnival.
I love the Merc, but that price is unreasonable.
So I'm like you, Kia Carnival for the win. Beautiful MPV that one, slightly looks like an SUV, doesn't give too much bus vibes.
To think that the Merc the VW weren't far off not so long ago, now almost a million apart. Spec for spec that is. Tenderpreneurs made this car too expensive.
A superb vehicle in its segment no doubt you will stand out. Price wise its respectable but the downside to that is the vehicle interior is starting to look dated, there is nothing wrong with it but there is just something missing. Nice touch of Mercedes to include the roof box standard, bet its bundled in the R2M price, but a nice touch although it looked a bit plastic when opening it or is it just me that was expecting it to open electrically 😄

Can you consider a comparison with it's rivals, VW Caravelle T6. 1/ Hyundai Staria 2.2D Luxury/ Toyota Quantum 2.8 VX & Ford Tourneo Custom Ltd Auto. Surprisingly, the Quantum looks the more expensive of them all..?
There is that thing called "badge/image bias"... Even with that Quantum will never shake off that taxi rank image.
The cockpit is out of date. That instrument cluster and steering literally looks like the ones in a 2015 c-class.

Paddle shifters in an MPV? These manufacturers have lost the plot. The shifters and carbon fibre are certainly out of place in this vehicle. The old school instrument cluster is a good thing.

The design is so old, poor luggage capacity and the constant patch up work is an eyesore. Unless you are a merc fan and a badge fanatic with deep pocket...it's not worth half the asking 2mil price.
