    These fajitas are absolutely fantastic. This was my first cook on the WoodFired Oven. Thanks chef Tom, you rock.

    Cooked this today with just ingredients to hand so juice from jalpeno jar and ozark heat but everything else was as chef Tom recommended on a Pit Boss Navigator on Hickory. It was absolutely delicious. Thanks Chef Tom :)

    Tom looking a little more “seasoned” with the glasses and the grey hints in the beard. Straight boss on the grill. Keep up the good work

      So darn handy. We keep 2 of the 3.5-qt, 2 of the 8-qt, and 1 of the 22-qt at home. One or more of them is in use at all times. Thanks for watching!

    Wish you would have told us what gear you're using. Is that a pizza oven attachment? What temp? Good video. Great technique

    • @allthingsbbq
      @allthingsbbq  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The grill is the Yoders YS640s - www.atbbq.com/grills-and-smokers/pellet-grills/yoder-smokers-ys640s-pellet-grill-with-acs.html, fitted with the Yoder Wood Fired Oven - www.atbbq.com/accessories/grill-accessories/pellet-accessories/yoder-smokers-wood-fired-oven-ys480-and-ys640.html set at 500-degrees. The fajitas were cooked in the Lodge Cast Iron baking pan - www.atbbq.com/accessories/bbq-and-grilling-cookware/cast-iron-cookware/lodge-bakeware-15-5-x-10-5-cast-iron-baking-pan.html. Can you do more recipes on a gas grill? Your creations are always awesome and inspiring. But it’s hard to translate to a gas grill since that’s what most people have.

    • @allthingsbbq
      @allthingsbbq  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. You can definitely cook this on your gas grill using the same temperature and expect a very similar cook time. The main difference between gas and the Yoder is the lightly infused smoke flavor and the additional moisture in the cooking chamber of the Yoder. Thanks for watching, and "let's be good to one another."

    I’m sorry, but you just can’t put a splash of whip cream on chocolate cake. You need to put at least a dollop or two on a serving.

  • @DE8ASER
    @DE8ASER ปีที่แล้ว

    DID YOU SAY “WAX-PAPER”?! Under that kinda heat!? Naw. That was parchment… you’re literally a chef, you know the difference.

    I love this channel and the vibe. But "one pan" might be a stretch for this recipe. Mixer bottle, brine bucket, bowl to mix veggies and chicken, cast iron pan to cook, and a tray to warm the tortillas... Just sayin...

  • @shawnmitcham9824

    I love this channel and chef Tom, but..... Does he really probe the chicken fajitas? It's ridiculous

    • @MrKoopas
      @MrKoopas ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Best way to get them the perfect temp. Takes 2 seconds to clean the probe so why not?

    • @allthingsbbq
      @allthingsbbq  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes but, he makes a good point, the thigh meat is really forgiving, so is a good choice when cooking everything together. Not everyone who watches the channel is a seasoned cook, so this might be helpful. And as always, thanks for commenting and being part of our community!

  • @mechengineer-sv2ei
    @mechengineer-sv2ei ปีที่แล้ว

    Looks great! Only thing is I can't stand chicken fat. I'd have to trim all them thighs down to just meat.

    • @allthingsbbq
      @allthingsbbq  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Me too ... 🤣🤣🤣. A boning or utility knife will make fast work out the fat removal. Hope you'll give this recipe a try. Thanks for watching!
