Al these are absolutely awesome I love that wood the grain and the sap wood together gives them so much texture its amazing and its frickin awesome to see another turning video I miss your turning so much its amazing to see new ones even though you turned them before sailing off. I hope you and your darling wife are keeping well and enjoying your new life 👍👍👍
Good to see you Senor. Fabulous as always.
So good to see you again my friend.
Beautiful box enjoyed this video awesome colors in that wood great job
Glad you enjoyed it Happy New Year my friend
Al; I hope that you and your family are doing well and that you are all healthy!
Very Nice to see! Your way of presenting is wonderful! The pot/box turned out great! It reminds me of Whinny The Poo’s Honey Pot.
Thank you so much! I should have named it that....
Wow. What a nice Christmas present to find a nice gift video from the Rebel Turner today. Thank you so much. My goodness, Al, you are a missed man in the turning community!
You are so welcome! Happy New Year my friend
Wow I was real happy to see you posted this morning I really enjoyed watching thank you hope all is going well I have missed watching you it inspires me to get working thank you for your time
All good Happy New Year my friend
Excellent! I especially liked seeing the comparison. As you said in the beginning, I too have discovered that a little bark (live edge) goes a long way, and that it's easy to leave too much on, which can sometimes hide the other beauties in the wood.
This box is much prettier and shows off the grain better. Love it.
Happy New Year my friend
Hello my friend!
Nice little pot! Hope the sailing is going well with no breakdowns. Be safe.
Thank you for watching I guess you can't have a boat without break downs..... I hate the ones caused by my error.
@@AlFurtado I hear you brother. We purchased a small farm before I retired as I grew up in the country and wanted to return. I’ve made a few mistakes myself in the operation. But, I have learned and I know you have too. Hang in there and follow your dream buddy.
Good to see you on the lathe. Nice piece, Happy Sailing.
Yes, thanks Happy New Year my friend
Excellent job Al. Its been a long time since I last sat down & watch one of your videos. Thank you Sir

Ah, memories... Best wishes for the new year, and good health for the both of you!
Thank you for watching as always and Happy New Year
You are correct, he little 'POP' is the turners fit. But the ladies, they prefer a looser fit so they can lift the lid off without having to pick the whole thing up.
Happy New Year my friend
Great work as always. Was totally waiting for the "This is MAN time... leave me be!!" but then again maybe that's just what I would say 🤣
Happy New Year my friend
HAPPY NEW year Al. Hope you are enjoying retirement and life on the boat..
Happy new year! We are enjoying the boat but will be happy once we're back on the water

Big difference! Definitely better without bark rings and with heart wood featured. Wish you still had a shop to work in and create new videos for us. Guess we just have to wait for you to find some friendly turners in future harbors.
Maybe one day! Happy New Year my friend
Great job. I hope my videos come together like yurs keep on posting!!!!
I hope so too Thank you for watching
Nostalgia time for my friend.

Happy new year!
Beautiful box Al. How many more old videos do you have?
Thank you for watching A couple more and some not salvageable lost sound.
Love it....😊
Very nice! I really didn't like the first version but the second is very pretty.
I agree! Thank you for watching
Very nice
Thanks
Happy New Year I think maybe you're missing your turning as we are
Could be . I do miss the lathe and my friends. Thank you for watching
Another old, but interesting video. Of course the “I missed the boat comment” hopefully was just for the turning in this video and not meaning you didn’t get your wife the right Christmas present and she sailed off without you. That’s worse than the landlubbers dog house treatment. 😁 hope all is well and you have a very safe and Happy New Year. Cheers, Tom
LOL I think that is why I have not thought her the ropes yet. Very unlikely she will ever leave me behind that way LOL
A couple of beauties Al,hope you had a good Christmas-all the best for New Year's -safe sailing buddy!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷😁
Happy new year
Al one safety question why do you turn with your watch on?
Happy New Year my friend because I do not feel endangered by my watch or ring.
Happy New Year.
Happy new year!
I just thought of something while watching you make that "box", It's round but we call it a box, so I thought why not call it a rox, as in a round-box lol...
Happy New Year my friend
Is that dry or green
This piece was fairly dry
A new video!!!
Happy New Year my friend
Small rnd box
Thanks fir watching
