Hi! Thank you for your tutorial. I just have one question. If I am analyzing several accounting data do I need to add the date for each one or i can assume it’s the same date?

Dr. Scarpin- thank you very much for sharing. Can we also use screener to get company estimates for multiple companies? Any good way to extract data of company estimates for many companies at once?! Thanks again.

That depends on the estimate. If the estimate is on screener, yes, you can do it.

Thanks for you Videos. One Question is there any way to look for al list of companies without Filter? So just by the respective Co.pany names ?

@@markuskamot9910 if there is a way to filter it, you can do it on Screener. If not, then you need to go manually.

Hi, thanks for this video, it has proven to be really helpful to select data properly from Eikon. One question I have and couldn't find any answers for is what actually means "Balance Sheet Period End Date" since some data appears with a data of 31/03/2022 instead of 31/12/2021? I am trying to select YTD data so I assumed one fiscal year would show me the data from the last balance sheet available of the previous closed year. So is data with an FY0 of 31/03/2022 is YTD data of 2021 or in fact, is it already data from the first quarter of 2022? I'm really confused about this point and an answer from you would be really helpful and highly appreciated. Thank you so much.

That is the end of the fiscal year. In some countries, the fiscal year ends on 31/03 and in others, like the USA, each company can decide when their fiscal year starts and ends.

@@AccountingHubbyDrScarpin Thanks for the reply. It wasn't until I submitted the comment that I realized this. I tried to edit the column in Eikon with the parameter "As of:" to "Last Calendar Year End (0CY)" but, unfortunately, the data presented is still being displayed from Fiscal Years and not Calendar Years. I think that in order to make a comparative analysis of the data of the various companies that I have to do, I will probably have to use the calendarization method. Do you have any other suggestions on how to collect this type of data by calendar year? Thanks in advance.

@@carolinabrito9168 that is an issue we face every day. It is a limitation of your research.

@@AccountingHubbyDrScarpin There is a way/command on Refinitiv that helps us to have the list of companies we selected from an index, let's say S&P 500, that end at the same period of the year (let's say 31/12/20XX)? because as I see, there are some companies that end their FY in different time table, some 2022, other 2023. Do you think it is possible to select only those who end 31/12? If yes, how?
