22hp predator swamp runner mud motor on tracker 1542 speed test

Now I am thinking about a long tail prop on a boat with wing foils.
Like a flying fish with only it's tail touching the water.
Maybe even a catamaran with foils.

@@northernneckoutdoors3136 oh 100% I got a 1436 eith an 18hp briggsband stratton with a 9.5 inch prop she hauls when she is empty and I have my small battery in it. Loose alot of speed as I add weight. Most of the time anymore I'm 3gal tank for the motor 1.25 gal spare small batter and 6 beers with a foam of worms and one rod. Haul ass for hours can easily cover 30 miles quick

Did anyone figure a way to make it so you can swap long tail out for the shorter surface drive style when ya dont need to run so shallow? Without rekitting rhe whole thing

I need one of those I have a 1538 marsh hawk with a home made mud motor 301 predator the tail is only about 4' long loaded down only goes like 8 or 9 mph barley gets me up current

You need one!! Once you get one you’ll never go back, they’re so versatile and get you up even past where the kayakers can get for the best fishing spots 😂

Is the electric fuel pump really necessary?

For us it was. Motor would die after bulb lost prime. Runs fine with pump
