Ancestral conservation of ICE in NATURAL REFRIGERATORS of the mountain for consumption in summer

In the region of Tierra Estella (Navarra) there are several examples of natural refrigerators in the mountains that can give us an idea of ​​the importance of ice in recent centuries. Thanks to the collaboration of a group of residents of the Améscoas Valley, in 2007 we were able to reconstruct this traditional work that only survived in the memory of older people, who heard about it from their ancestors.
