Am sorry for your grandmother dude. I can see and feel the pain in your eyes. Quite littery. And your right, everyone can relate to the feeling of losing a loved one. It's just a pain knowing that yesterday may if been fine. Not knowing what tomorrow would have happened. And then that day comes and we realize that. That's it. That's the end of it. There gone. And all we have left is memories. Full of laughs, everything. I had someone. That littery helped me though everything helped me find my self when i thought i was lost for ever. And now there gone and just as the song says it's my fault. I couldn't do anything. And it's been a while and i haven't forgotten my self for it. Because i could of prevented it. It really hurts thinking back to that night when everything was fine. 10 minutes later i lose the most important person in my entire life.
I wouldnt say its your fault. Death happens for everyone man I feel like as long as you have strong feelings for that person and you love them then thats more than enough. I know saying that doesnt ease the pain and you have to figure it out yourself. But in my eyes I think that person would be happy you still feel strongly for them after death
I mean this song could be taken either way. I can relate to this song 2 ways. 1) My grandpa. My grandpa has been dead for the past 4 years (2019). He died to Stage IV Lung Cancer and I wasn’t there for his death. I was at my step sister’s wedding at the time and I thought he could hold it out long enough and so I didn’t go. I kinda regret not going there bc I could’ve been there for his last moments. 2) Relationships. It sucks when u have been in a relationship with someone for a long time and u finally split up. My heart is dull to the point where I’m used to it now. Been in 6 relationships and I’m kinda used to it now. I still miss those people bc I’ve had my special moments with them and now they are out of my life.

I agree too I feel like even though relationships end they are still people you love or loved so even though they are gone you still miss them. Makes it worse that you also have to delete all the good memories that you had with them too. Like photos and stuff
