Good news! You can wash leather! I wash my leather goods in the bathtub with plain blue Dawn (NOT the enzyme version, and not any sort of soap that has citric acid, so a wool laundry detergent could also work), and a big splash of vinegar to rebalance the pH. After thoroughly rinsing, roll the jacket up in a couple towels and step on it repeatedly to squeeze out excess water and then air dry it as quickly as possible, either outside in the shade, or in front of a fan. You may need to recondition the leather afterwards, and suede conditioner is a very specific product that comes with a brush or special sponge; don't use leather conditioner on suede.
