- On today’s DNVR Buffs Podcast, RK and Jake reveal their final projected starters for Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes ahead of the 2024 season. The guys project their offensive starters for the Buffs in 11 personnel and also share their thoughts on who would enter the lineup if Travis Hunter is off the field. The Travis Hunter discussion carries over to the defensive side of the ball, whether or not he will play in the slot and share some of their picks for who else could crack the lineup at multiple positions. I like Tyler Brown but missing an entire season worth of games will be tough. I still think Tyler Johnson has to start but would love to see Roc move to Center
I saw on well off video yesterday that agustave finished 2nd in jumping power behind Travis. If you can jump usually that means you’re pretty explosive. So I wouldn’t sleep on him being a starter

I cannot understand O. Miller not being a starter this year. Hard to believe he hasn't proved himself reliable in practice by now! I believe he's as solid as any of those guys, but ALWAYS comes thru game time.

There is already an article out on the teams that built a new offensive line on the portal. Oklahoma has a brand new offensive line for instance. I think these things are not brought up when talking about the Buffs because it hurts the narrative… another example.FSU played with 21 transfers last year to cap their stellar season..

They will go more 4 and 5 receiver sets and Timmons and Jimmy will be in there. Timmons is so slept on but might be the best out of the big WRs.

The left tackle needs to be earned with experience, Seaton will be there eventually but Seaton needs to be on the right and Benson left. You always but experience on the QBs back side when in the pocket.

I don't understand the rationale behind not being able to build and OL thru the portal. Players have to be coached and develop chemistry regardless, so is it because the guy aren't talented? CU got grad transfers, not guys leaving because they weren't playing.

Spring ball is just that! Travis is not built to play in the slot full time , that position has to crash down the line to often or pick up pulling TEs etc etc. Travis would end up injured so CO won't do it.

He "practiced" slot so he could learn it & possibly play there if there in man & the #1 wr happens to be in the slot on that play he can follow him.
