The 1988 Elvis and Me tv movie was so much better. Susan Walters played Priscilla, and Dale Midkiff played Elvis. I felt like that had more details. I know this is just a remake of that. I didn't mind the actors but I felt like Priscilla in this movie could say more than hmm mm.

I am a Memphian born and bred and the STORIES my grandfather and grandmother’s female friends who were younger than Priscilla when she married Elvis, aka more on “acceptable” age par in today’s dating world when they met him…heck an aunt of mine attended the same Catholic All Girls’ High School as Priscilla, Immaculate Conception or IC for those “in the know”. So she sued him for fraud asking for Graceland and had the lien put on it so Elvis couldn't transfer the deed to his father to save it from her. She did that out of spite and revenge. Except, all that happend in 1977. She filed the suit on April 29, 1977. Elvis re-wrote his will right after that had had her cut out of it. It is also why he had to go on tour again, to make the money to pay her. I wish someone would write a movie about who the real Priscilla Beaulieu is!

I haven't seen this but suspicious minds is emotional abuse, gaslighting and controlling and the follow up of always on my mind further backs that. She was a minor when got with her. By today's standards he's a groomed and at minimum by his own admission emotionally abusive controlling and a gaselighter which I'm not sure but I think that falls under psychological abuse. A story depicting him as an abuser is by no means a suprise in the slightest.
