I was joking I watched two difference episodes from two different shows this week. Blood and cheese from HOTD and Shoresy season finale. Which one do you think made me cry 😂
I've re-watched the scene like once a day since and tears every time. The speech, the initial penalty to get s--- started, the goals themselves, the fans in the streets and the pose in front of the bench all set to this. Beautiful.
The soundtrack to being hurled through space with low oxygen realizing that death is near and knowing that no one will else will know the beauty you are witnessing in those final moments.
If shoresy brought you here start it at 2:36 😢 That whole pep talk and his last game scene with this music, perfect!!!!!! Then him at the end by himself with the cup dropping down , truly got me 😭 Jared keeso, you really know how to set the fucking tone
Hosted a house party on saturday night. 3 in the morning the dj dropped this on us, everyone got to a perfect level and I swear to god it was one of those perfect moments of clarity where everyone in the room is your family and nothing could ruin it.
i guess Im asking randomly but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my account password. I appreciate any help you can give me.
I don't think a piece of house music that builds up like that has ever been made before. It's bloody fantastic. It's one of the most beautiful and philosophical tunes. AND A BANGER XD
+Roby Dimitrov “Another Roby Presentation” Made a cinematic mix of OPUS. Pretty sure you wouldnt hate it. /watch?v=wEsieqSMLtk Please spread the word, if you like it !

That's heavy ! The only mainstream DJ I've seen that has the balls to play this (the original not this remix) in the club is Steve Angello. It's hard to keep the crowd in a club environment so props to any dj that plays this.
+Erico Zambrano I didn't say Steve angello was the only dj to drop this. I said Steve Angello was the only DJ I'VE SEEN drop this. I don't really care who has played this, it doesn't change the fact that he's the only DJ I've seen drop this. I would recommend to use less energy on trying to prove people wrong. I'm already feeling disappointed for even replying to your comment.
This is probably the sickest build up+drop I've ever heard. Heard it live last summer and it's just impossible to forget! If anyone knows any similar masterpieces, feel free to suggest
This track, well actually this particular remix by Four Tet, is up there in rarefied heights, for sure. Another track that has such power is Mac Zimms - L'Annonce Des Couleurs, released in 1997. A long long time ago, as a small-time DJ, I dropped this track at about 3:30 AM, when the floor was mostly empty... Before the build-up was complete, the floor was full again!
Lovely stuff. I think people's problem with this track is not the insufficient drop or whatever. It's the lack of release. Through the whole build-up, it's just tension. Prolonged tension. Not releasing that tension, like in the original, is a pretty bold way to go. Not every tune has to have a climax. Sometimes not releasing the tension is better. Lovely track. Both the original one and this one.
Honestly makes me start to believe a God is possible after listening to music like this. Another ‘holy cow gotta remember to breathe’ kind of song. Playing this late at night with your headphones and your eyes closed - you’ll thank me later. To the people who’ve been in a warehouse for this, that will go down as a highlight for your life.
Love the bit that goes BEEP. Then when it goes BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. And then BANG, it hits with some serious beepage. BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!
Four Tet is a very talented artist. Saw him play live at the Roundhouse, Camden, UK, for the very first time and he totally blew my mind with how complex some of the melodies were. This man can take a tune and a beat, draw you through a journey of chaos before dropping you back into the original melody. However, this remix is just incredible.
Such a classic trance feel to this remix! A true genius! Prydz should be honoured to be remixed by him, and people seem to be missing the point that the immensely beautiful melody is the important part not the so - called "drop". listen to any of four tet 's music to understand that.
+Shane Rivers I know you cant be a true vinyl dj as this is quite possibly the hardest dj tune to mix. it has a constantly chaning tempo lol. meaning you only have the very end bit to quickly get it timed up with the next record and mixed in lol.
ALI3NEYE you only need to mix the beginning and end (where the drum beat is). It is pretty short for a good, clean blend though, so you'd probably have to have the next track planned before you even start your gig. Either way, its marginally more mix friendly than the original. Also, vinyl has nothing to do with this specific situation. I am a beginner using a controller, but I will be buying SL1200-mk2s and a mixer in the near future.
+ALI3NEYE this is easy as shit, you have like two minutes in the beginning to beatmatch it, i need like 45 seconds to make a +/- 0,1% beatmatch and after the build up you have more than 2 minutes to do the mix, nothing special if you ask me. The hardest tracks to mix are breakbeats and hip hop
I actually liked it. Not as good as the original track, but I like what he did after that massive build-up. I was so concentrated on the original melody of the build-up and that he just broke that huge space it created with the simple beat. Great work.
+YourMaIsFit I was not talking about Four Tet. Read both comments without the context of the OP track and welcome to the world of imgur comment section.
- the fallout in this song is cool in a way that I'd imagine similar to watching your own small and endearing child grow into a complete adult, but their main idiosyncratic trait is yet left perfectly intact--simple to complex--innocence encompassed--one in the same, and as subtle as the laughter that never really quite ceased.. *the awe stricken when wondering where the smallest of times have slipped away.*
There's a certain arrogance to a record like this. It's a producer telling a DJ that 'THIS' is the pinnacle to a set. It's telling a crowd THIS moment is the peak of your night, THIS is the peak of your summer. In twenty years time, you will remember where and when you heard this for the first time, you'll remember who you were with, and how great it was. If you're going to be self-indulgent, with an insane five minute break down, you've got to make sure you've got the goods to make it land. Fuck me, these two pull it off.
This Remix is awesome! it brings all the principal elements of the original track, forming a massive build up with a massive techno drop. Can't wait to hear it on the dancefloor with a powerfull soundsystem!!
Ich mag die langsame Steigung in dem Track. Immer wenn ich mir dieses Lied anhöre, kommt es mir so vor, als würde mir jemand etwas erklären und ich würde es langsam verstehen.
Does the start of this remind anyone else of being stuck underwater playing Sonic the Hedgehog and the existential panic that overcame you knowing you were doomed
really really cool interpretation by Four Tet. for all you guys claiming that you don't like it because of the drop, you're no better than the teenybopping EDM kids nowadays.
+SeRolGenre thank you. DROP DROP DROP DROP DROP. there's more to dance music than an effing drop. I wish more people could recognize this... Glad you do! :D

In addition to being a great actor, writer & producer, Jared Keeso has got to be the best music supervisor in television history. Every episode just slaps.
this reminds me of the epic 90s progressive trance stuff you'd find on white label mixes. i honestly did not expect something of this quality from eric pridz. good work man !!
Dropped this as my last tune at a forest party recently, was quite nervous really... The intensity and build up is unreal - to a point where it just peaks at literally just the right time and you're thinking it can't go on!! Then the drop and bass line hits and oh my word. Everyone on the dancefloor went fucking crazy. Hands in the air euphoria.
Ohhhh jaaaa, unfassbar, unvergesslich, der Fusion Magic Moment schlechthin, als wäre der track für genau diesen Moment geschaffen worden, einfach episch!
This masterpiece goes from melancholic to a feeling of immense joy with a happy realization of true love and connection. You feel reconnected and hopeful.
I first heard this at Field Day, London a few days ago and since then cannot get the melody out of my head. I'm glad I had to search this out - it was ridiculous live and set the tone for another faultless selection ahead. Supreme build up and drop.
i prefer the original track but this is also good, the long side of this track is the build-up part long enough to give more imagination; the short side is also the build-up, feels somewhat repetitive even though added some new voices, and probably make this more electro than a progressive(or tech) house. Feels like better to hear this in an acid tripping than in a club or rave.
I first heard this song the night I met this wonderful man with whom I fell in love with shortly after. The second time I heard it was the night I discovered he just used me for his drive satisfaction. He always told me he only needs a bit more time. He kept me waiting for the drop, just like the song does. And I was so desperately yearning for this drop, but deep down I knew it would be disappointing because on the one hand the break down was just too perfect and on the other hand it just took way too long to fulfill the anticipation I built. Needless to say: I cri evrytiem (German here so sorry for bad English)
Lea Szcz look into a mans eyes when you're speaking you will intuitively observe whether he's actually listening and processing and empathic or just a douche who acts well enough to appear to care. The first type of man is the one you need to actively pursue because he will be a mate and friend so many dicks know how to tell girls things that fool her into thinking he's awesome but truly a liar user cheater and egomaniac who will only cause pain inevitably. Some girls seem to be hypnotized by that asshole type over and over I suppose they are masochists. Are you?
Lets be honest - This song and a 0-4 comeback to win the National Hockey comp. Brings a tear to your eye - 69 Shoresy
When he was kneeling down the the cup, man, tears.

I've re-watched the scene like once a day since and tears every time. The speech, the initial penalty to get s--- started, the goals themselves, the fans in the streets and the pose in front of the bench all set to this. Beautiful.

Jelly! Glad the dj read the crowd and dropped that track in there.
Til I walk in the room with my balls out and a nail in my hand and pop my nut all over the place creating a rainbow of cum and blood.
But what do you play after that?
Sounds like a rarity; a dj who doesn't just play drake and lil nas x
I don't believe you that this happened - but - I respect that you wanted it to happen.
this is more than a remix, this is a Tribute

Possibly one of the best remixes of all time! The progression in the track is so good its emotional.
Listening to Opus is like watching someone's life, from birth to death, in a 8 minute time span
im listening to this while working(programming), is stressful as hell
The Sky was Pink remix by James Holden is unbeatable! However, this one is very good.
Four Tet made the beat talk, literally
@@jeli780agree!! This song led me to electro... Fucking genius sound... God bless James 😎
Fourtet played this in Manchester and the crowd just went wild, never seen nothing like it
As Annie Mac would say... Oh. My. Days. My faith in music is restored.
+Carly Taylor hahah
+Carly Taylor But are you raving or are you behaving? hahha
imagine pinging hard, lasers and lights all around you, a crowd full of love and that climax. unreal.
Four tet dropped this at warehouse project a couple years back and I experienced exactly what you just described. Absolute bliss

Jared Keeso is an absolute genius when it comes to picking his music. Perfect choice for Shoresy's final game.
Nah the genius is within the music and author/s
You know a song is bloody amazing when you're sober at a festival and it makes you lose your sh*t.

that vocal at 9:43 is something special that's why i love Kieran the attention to detail and subtlety upon every fucking second of this remix.
