Theres a TH-cam Channel "Trackmania 2020 World Records" which shows the records up to date during campaign

One thing that might be interesting: on the very last day, Mudda spent ~8h attempting to reclaim the WR on map 17, in an attempt to give himself an extra buffer in points.
He didn’t, of course, but he had many WR pace runs.
He actually did but then soli reclaimed it again very last second after mudda went to bed

After watching the whole video I think I will still be hearing "This guy's sigma as ****, dude" in my dreams.
This is good content great explanations and commentary. On another note it might be an internal trackmania setting but the fade to black before the finish bugs my eye i keep feeling like i blinked and missed it when it keeps happening it becomes a little bit iretating.

Hey Wirtual, I have finally gotten to a video early! I know you won't see this but I really hope that you do (or Buckley). You got me into this game (Trackmania). I started by playing Nations Forever on my bad computer and was really annoyed that they didn't have the new game on the ps4. As soon as they added it to ps4 I downloaded it and enjoyed it so much. I recently got a proper pc and the first thing I downloaded was Trackmania, and then after like 2 days of playing I got the starter access (because I'm 15 and don't have enough money really). I have watched close to every video you've made on TH-cam but haven't been able to catch a single live stream because I live in Australia. Anyway, you have been such a great content creator and I really hope you continue doing this for many many year to come, and that I will one day be able to join a live. Best of luck from Australia!

This season I got 14 AT and gold for the rest which makes me very proud considering that last campaign I only got 1 or 2 AT and I didnt even unlock all the tracks. This season was incredible for learning techs.
On 08 I ended the season with 12th world I’m extremely happy with that

1 wheel speed slide on grass is probably faster because you are not incurring additional drag with multiple wheels on the surface. For example you can have two wheels wet while two wheels are dry or frozen
Talking of Tutorials... i would love to see a tutorial just on landing out of a jump. How do i avoid slow downs, specially when jumping in to a turn on a tech map (jumping from sausage for example)

Ok everyone... I know that "drifting" is just a break-initiated slide during a turn to make a sharp cut (even though not truly a drift), "speed sliding" is when you have enough angular momentum around a curve that breaks the centrifugal and normal forces and the game bugs that to be an acceleration noseward (depending on speed and angle), "ice sliding" is actually what drifing is...
But wtf are neo and quantum slides?
Neo slides are a combination of inputs that forces the car to start a slide when you normally would not be able to, and a quantum slide has the benefits of a speedslide while steering like a no-slide

It's so annoying that clips seemingly end just before they cross the finish line. You can't fully see the ending ffs
The replay system often cuts the part after the finish (especially for online record) in order to save space (i think, and it's stupid since there's millions of them), but the fade out occurs before so we don't see the replay abruptly end.
Really annoying design.
@@taechuK the record is just some metadata + the inputs, the game engine can simulate everything else so it simply doesn't make sense to cut it like this, terrible design, that's all

I could be wrong, but I think the word "quantum" means "the smallest possible amount of something." So "Quantum Slide" would mean "smallest possible amount of slide" which makes sense.
Quantum in this sense is referencing the effect of quantum superposition - where subatomic particles exist in multiple states simultaneously.
So both sliding and not sliding at the same time!

when you go to the store, do you expect others to pay for your groceries?
because nadeo does need to make money, and the club access is the only way the can. does it suck? yea, but you can always play the free arcade rooms with the rotation of player made tracks for free
i do not subscribe to a quartely supply of potatoes.

in game ads are an option, too.

Meanwhile, on my replays, even if I'm visually far from the walls, I still reportedly crashed and lost >350kmh and can't accelerate before 2 seconds.
