I used nsp45 on my car and applied UK 3.0 + SIC. Nine months later, the coating looks as if it had just been applied, fantastic water behavior, and beading. Cheers for UK
The nsp's are great. They have performed with many different coatings that I have used including CarPro coatings. Corey got the technique down quick on these.
Theoretically, yes... We have not tested it however. I would say to do one panel with a panel wipe and your tried and true method when using any coating new to you so you can be sure if something goes wrong, what cause it until you know for sure.
I use Carpro Essence and Gyeon Q2 Primer. After polishing and wiping it off I go straight to coating over it and have had better results than using an IPA wipe down or waiting 12-24 hours
Essence contains a little bit of mineral oil so we recommend an Eraser wipe down with Essence. Dr Beasleys states they have zero oils in the NSP products and therefore we do NOT need an IPA or Eraser wipe down. This was exactly why we brought them in. CARPRO revolutionized the industry with Essence but if you are not doing an IPA wipe then Dr. Beasleys NSP has invented a better mouse trap for that scenario imo based on what I know and have seen so far.
Hi Chris, yes I LOVE mine.... It is my tried and true... I know what you mean. Try moving your arm counter clockwise instead of clockwise and see if that solves it for you. Please lmk!
Great question! Yes with some compounds and maybe iffy with others... Just be sure to wipe off the compound obviously before you do the finishing polish but you should not need a panel wipe. If the compound was excessively oily or you wanted to be 100% safe then you might give it a panel wipe after the compound step. Actually... thinking through it I wouldn't risk it... Too much work already invested and would be awful to have to start over a month later because some oils from some compound were still in the mix by the end! -Corey
Great video! I'm looking to recoat my car. Can I use this system to removed my current ceramic coating and recoat it right away? Or is a panel prep wipe down still going to be needed because of the ceramic coating being removed? If i can removed my ceramic coating and not have to panel prep it that would be awesome!
That depends on your goals, the paint, how you polish, and your preferences. GENERALLY speaking in my experience: If your goal is to use no panel wipe, then NSP is better. If your goal is the highest gloss then Essence is better. Those two things can get more complicated if you are using a ceramic coating at which case you must ask, will I use a panel wipe after Essence? Or do I polish it down so far it doesn't need one... hard to measure... a risk not to use a panel wipe with Essence. Next question is when am I going to panel wipe? If you panel wipe immediately after Essence then you will kill some of its excess gloss. If you can wait until the Essence is stronger before using a light panel wipe then you will not remove its gloss.
@@maximelefebvre8987 The longer the better if you plan to coat over it but generally you panel wipe after you get all the way around the car with Essence.
Yes, we tested with CQUARTZ UK immediately following this video and used zero panel wipe... Car is still going strong after a couple months so far. Per Dr. Beasleys you can use any coating after their NSP compounds. So far our tests agree which was why we ordered and started carrying their NSP compounds/polishes.
Yes, you are correct. Each type of paint system has their own challenges. However some compounds work well on both soft and hard clear. Have you used NSP's on an Audi?
@@SkyCarCare No.. I was trying to assess if this system will offer me any advantages over carpro reflect/essence, or sonax perfect finish. I am too a little bit paranoid when it comes to installing a coating after an "oily" finishing step. I will probably buy a 95 NSP to see for myself. The problem is that I will have to wait for 18 months to see if there's any measurable difference 😊
@@texfromro Ahhh perfect, if I get a chance to use it on harder paint then I will check it out! My gut is it is working well on hard paint as well. The big shocker to me is a coating bonding well with zero panel wipe. If bonds with NSP on a soft clearcoat then it certainly should on hard so that I can vouch for as time continues. So far still going strong after a couple months. It also seems that if a coating is going to fail from poor prep that it will do so within the first month on a daily driver.
Great video Corey. I know Miranda have been using it for sometime it really does seem like a great product. I wonder if it would be beginner friendly as well?
Thank you Pat! Great question... I THINK it is beginner friendly as long as they simply know to use a small amount of product. As you know beginners tend to overuse with any compound product, If they do that with this one, it will let them know pretty quickly that they are using too much I think. - Corey happy New Year!
Thanks again for the hospitality, Corey!
Always our pleasure! Next time we may have to hit that seafood spot we were suppose to get to ;)

Thanks Mike! They seem to be SUPER reliable.
The panel wipe down takes very little time and very easy to do.
True but completely unnecessary if using the Dr. Beasleys NSP compounds.
Double check...Will it work ok with Dquartz Go?
Theoretically, yes... We have not tested it however. I would say to do one panel with a panel wipe and your tried and true method when using any coating new to you so you can be sure if something goes wrong, what cause it until you know for sure.
It is like essence by carpro ? And should you wipe essence with eraser even if you wait 12 hours or more ?
I use Carpro Essence and Gyeon Q2 Primer. After polishing and wiping it off I go straight to coating over it and have had better results than using an IPA wipe down or waiting 12-24 hours
Also the NSP polishes are off the charts for coatings! Use them as well. Excellent! And no IPA needed
Wow great info thanks for the help !

Which is better Carpro Essence or NSP gloss?
i wonder how is that pad compared to an orange force hybrid pad??
Can't say I have played with the Force, We love the HDO pads from Lake Country though!
Is that a Flex 3401? Do you still like it? Was thinking of getting rid of mine for a non forced rotation machine or rotary. Works fine but fights you.
