Every time I hear this song, I think about a day many years ago (summer of 2000). I was on a mission trip, doing evangelism in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. It was raining, and few people were out, but we were sent in teams to share the gospel. In such unlikely circumstances, my little group saw five give their lives to the Lord. There was a lot of opposition and spiritual warfare, but God got the victory.
Amen and glory God! It reminds me of my coming to the US around the same time. Fearful in a different country, with no one to look to, but that Name, the Name of Jesus was my only banner. It has been and will ever be!
