Man as soon as the pretty lady (Alex Reade) started singing and even the screams from her, I was like 😮 she is just so damn good, what a phenomenal addition to the band
I'm not super familiar with Make Them Suffer's music, but if there was anything I'd want you to react to from them it would be Contraband. It features Courtney from Spiritbox so you've already seen what she can do lol.
For me it would be erase me. The courtney feature was honestly quite lack luster for me. There was none of her personality in the verse, like her performance was fine, but she literally just repeated the first verse the other guy did in the beginning, there was nothing personal of her in that song. Plus the lyrics make no sense.
I read they started out as a deathcore band then after their first couple albums switched more to metalcore. Hence the "depths of helly" low growl part which is really good. I agree with other commenters Contraband feat Courtney definitely should be next 🤘
Make Them Suffer's creativity is out of control. If you want another few I love Elegies, Chronicles, Threads, Requiem, Save Yourself, Erase Me, Bones are all pretty accessible. I mean maybe not chronicles but I had to throw a heavy one at you. Also, Gojira. Please do some Gojira at some point. Silvera, Another World, L'Efant Sauvage, The Gift of Guilt (Live at Brixton academy) are good jumping off points but if you want to see some real ish Where Dragons Dwell (Live at Hellfest 2013).
This was honestly one of last year's best songs imo. Everything about it so top notch.
