Textured Jingle Bell

- In this video, I’m using the 2.5” press from WWW.IMAKESTUFF.ART to create a beautifully textured jingle bell. My plan is to skip the glaze and finish these bells with only iron oxide, giving them a natural, woodsy look that’s perfect for the holiday season or rustic decor.
One big benefit is that, since my kiln is only 8x8”, I can stack these bells for firing without worrying about them touching - a huge time-saver! Thanks for watching, and let me know if you have any questions about the process. Happy creating!
Love the textured bells! I’ve made plain ones using the molds, but never thought of adding texture. Fabulous!
You’re right, adding texture really elevates them! 😄
Very cute. 😊😊
I’m so glad you think so! 😊
These are very cool. I’m in awe of the artistry that goes into making these clay ornaments! Beautiful work!
Thank you so much! I love making these!
I love your use of the scalpel in the cuts! Never thought of doing it!
It makes a clean cut! I also use the little plunger from the 3/4 press (you can find them at www.imakestuff.art) to round out those edges. I just didn’t have one sitting there next to me.
Thanks for sharing this video! Could you say what the size is for textured circle of clay that you start with? Is it a 3 inch circle? 🙂
Incomplete… show us the glazed final result 😬🤷♀️
Sorry! I updated the photo to show the result. I had just made them when I created the video and didn’t have any completed. 😂
Where do you get the mold for the ball? Thanks 🤗
Yeah cool huh? I need one too. Like every nifty tool I see people use ha ha😅
The write up under the video gives the name of the co.
You can find them at www.imakestuff.art. 😊
Cool!
