I owe my matric pass to people like William Smith who were involved in the learning channel in the early 90s... I failed my matric the first time around because of the political violence however the second time around I made sure I am pulling through thanks to the learning channel and efforts that were made by those involved 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Stats SA is a scary mess to the point of dysfunctional information which needs a new census sooner rather than later and the PUBLIC needs to be involved in it as it is an essential service for the good of the country.

Personality I understand some of the exclusion that StatisticSA want to live out... There is too much duplications of roles for deaths and birth we have the Home affairs who are there on the daily basis gathering the info similarly to the labour matter that's the business of the Labour department... Zuma is either trying to belittle/destroy the EFF by buying their key members or it's a grand plot by Floyd to help topple MK. Merging the EFF is a battle strategy.
I’m still not convinced about the MK. They’re just a protest board. EFF really need to hold their nerve and not to succumb to infighting. Rebuild at the grass roots and give some of the up and coming EFF young leaders a chance.
Geepers those stats... It will also effect engineers work with poor stats because we will then overplan infrastructure requirements in the wrong places and also not be able to plan properly for water, electricity and transport needs among a few.

In our complex, we didn't allow the census officials in as previously with the last Census we had hectic break ins. Needs to be done online. Same with voting

The disintegration of the MK party was probably a good thing for South Africa and having them reduced to the levels of cope was a great outcome, floyd is by far the most consequential person in modern south africa, and i am counting on the tribalism and general unruliness of the MK to undermine his intentions there, that party simply can not be allowed to thrive

Every so often, someone approaches my father and says "my principal". This person would often be in their 40s and living a good life, remembering someone they knew in their teens. Recognition doesn't always have to be on TV.
The president must make it mandatory for people to come out of their homes and answer stats questions or be arrested like it was during covid and the curfews.
The president must makes a 2 day public holiday to allow officials to go house to house. If you are not going to be home during that time, you go to your nearest stats SA department beforehand to be counted and leave them with your address, they give you a sticker that says "counted". You paste it on your gate or door.
SANDF and SAPS deploy members to keep people safe from potential criminals who will want to take advantage of the holidays and pretend to be stats officials but have criminal intentions.
