You might be right about the new mics. Unless you mixed in reverb there’s more from the body reverb trails plus’s more comes through in the overtones.

how did you get that bass to cut through so nice in the audio mix? beautifully played I've had so much trouble getting a recording to sound that full.

Thanks, I think mic placement has a lot to do with the recording process. Play around with where the mics are located and the distance from the guitar
