The desert is called Thar Desert. It is amazing that you actually explored the locals. Please do come to bengal that is in east, during the durga puja.
I loved Jaisalmir when we visited 23 years ago! We rode camels (sitting on our quilts and blankets)into the desert and slept out under the stars; just my husband, two of our daughters and I with three guides who cooked beautiful meals for us. In contrast to your experience in jeep, it was wonderful moving slowly through the desert, coming upon wells, with people bringing their animals to drink, and collecting water. Such a magical experience!
I’m only 7 mins into this video and the beauty of it all made me so emotional. Your travels through India have touched a place in my deep in my heart. Honestly, I think you should write a book about your Indian adventures with Pete!!! So epic! So inspiring 🙏🏼♥️

By this constant practice of yoga, [and also] from āsana and bandha, the mind dissolves, and the [subtle] bindu (sparkling seed of light) approaches, which does not move [or] fall away from view, [remaining] exactly so. 1. The “seed-star of light,” sparkling "thought-gem" or sparkling “germ of light” perceived in meditation. 2. ध्रुवतारा (dhruvatārā) “the fixed, eternal pole star perceived in meditation.”
