Not according to the liner notes of "Pages of Life". I do know that Israel toured with Radical for Christ, but not when. Incidentally, the posted video was a tribute to Fred at the BMI Gospel Greats luncheon 2007. I really wasn't debating who was better (there is really on contest on Fred's own song). Israel is great I support him and buy his music I am particularly happy with his newest "Power of One". He and Hammond are very different artists, they don't need to be compared.

It's very nice, yes. However, as you say, no one can touch Fred Hammond (especially on his own song). So why even try? When I want to hear this song, I play "Pages of Life".
I have to say this. Can they PLEASE please get some better background singers. I mean could you borrow the ones from Sunday's Best? It's just for one day! No doubt these singers may be able to sing in their own right but together they sound horrible. It's been going on for way too long. They are missing cues and the harmonies aren't blended. Come on! That being said I love this song by fred. Probably one of his top 5 for me. Israel did it justice with his singing. I'm surprised others haven't tried to remake the song. Powerful lyrics
