Big Daddy speaks with broken cadence as a tribute to Adam West in the original Batman. Hit-Girl is one of the best things to happen in the comic book movie genre

Chloe Grace-Moretz had been a fairly prolific child actor from age 6 or 7 years old, but it was when this movie was released just after her 13th birthday that general audiences took notice. She totally stole the show!
I still think Cage was the reason this movie was so cool. Hit girl was the breakout star but you really felt Big daddy’s absence in the sequel.

Comic book movies don't get much more original than this.
Kick-ass this movie was freaking awesome Honestly, I’m upset they only made 2 films. They made so many amazing characters with such good stories. It gives you a better look on what a real life super hero could be.

@hieverybody4246 2 wasn't bad...the biggest problem was shoehorning the romance between Hitgirl and Kickass, and they let Red Mist...well Mitz-Plasse chew too much scenery. Aaron and Chloe were both still good. Jim Carrey was great, it just lost a lot of heart without Big Daddy.

The guy who played kick ass, Aaron Taylor Johnson is actually a British actor, which surprised me when I found out.

This is one of those movies that I thought was going to be stupid but then I watched it and I loved it.
One of my favourite teen memories was seeing this movie with my friends back in the day. Bringing back some serious memories, Homies 😎

Dave have metal plates on his skeleton. And his damaged nerve endings. He can't feel hurt.
It's not his fault for Big Daddy got killed in the first place. He didn't know Red Mist lied to him being friend of him first. He didn't know his true intentions and true colors.
I hope y'all react Kick-Ass 2. But whole world never give up to see Kick-Ass 3 movie.

_Kick-Ass 2_ has some character development for sure, and it also involves larger superhero and supervillain teams. It even has one character, a supervillain, who seems to have real superpowers.

Kick-Ass is the best superhero movie I have seen. Hit-Girl is the best superhero ever. Part 2 also kicks ass.
My favorite scene is the father-daughter bullet proof vest test. "It'll only hurt for a second" BLAM!

I can understand not really liking this one with it being a parody. The original graphic novel story was a little darker and showed the type of people who would want to be a "hero" in real life, starting with the mental guy jumping off the building. You'd be more likely to get yourself killed than do anything worthwhile. I think it was funnier seeing you two try to make sense of it all, especially 2:38 😄
I'd suggest Mystery Men, it's another parody but I think funnier
