This looks great. I can see how this is very handy for solo creators to setup lighting when you're on your own.

It really is an awesome bit of kit, you should add one to your kit 👍

One question, there's another one from smallrig, called M160. Is that the same, just without the app, or is the same, but bigger with a battery a little less bigger. Just wondering, I've ordered the RM75, that's why, didn't know there was another one, but bigger means, yes, more space, but better lights, am I right? Also you get the honey comb filter.

Apologies for the delayed reply, Yes there is also the M160 video rgb light the main difference being it and the RM75 is that it's brighter, larger and comes with the grid or honeycomb filter also. They have the same lighting effects builtin, the M160 as you mentioned isn't smart so you can't control it remotely but as I mentioned it has the honey comb grid with it and it's brighter but it's also larger.

hi, thanks for rewies of these smallrig lights, I'm just wandering, what would you choose for video conference purposes, or vlog style video? RM 75 or RM 120 as one light source except ambient light? That would be my primary usage of the light, secondary it would be part of my edc setup, in case of lack of light in general... to have something useful at hand.

I would go for the RM120 it has just that bit more power than the RM75 and that's more useful to you than the smart fsacilities of the RM75. The RM120 is also a larger panel so just that tiny bit more light diffusion then too. The RM120 comes with a cold shoe mount also. which might be handy and it's cheaper too.

@@kieranhayesphotography thanks for reply, I was thinking same thing, but that magnetic feature is kinda intriguing 🙂 I'll sleep on it and then flip coin or something to decide. Thanks 🤣

@ThePirhi The mag mount option and the smart facility make the RM75 an amazing light in fairness, good luck with whichever one you go for 👍

I cant get it to connect to my galaxy s10 plus with the smallgogo app

Is the app up to date? There was a new version recently. If it was connected before but not working now, then just go to the Bluetooth reset option on the RM75 and you can reconnect it then.

      @@kieranhayesphotography i have the app version 1.2.33

@@UnrupturedTV that's the version I am using on my Samsung S20 and it works fine for me. What part are you stuck at? Is it at "adding equipment" then try restarting your phone and also reseting the Bluetooth on the RM75. It should connect then.

@@kieranhayesphotography Yeah I tried that too... BT Reset was done... Restarted my phone too. I also reinstalled the app and tried using my wifes S22+ but still nothing shows up on the "add equipment" part.
