Thank you for your beautiful discription of the yoke. I looked at it as being locked up like a criminal in the town square for the head and hands not perceiving farm oxen. Ya learn something new every day. ♥️
Ashley. Thank you. What a helpful insightful way of looking at this verse. I will start applying that this moment I’ve probably stated to get out of the comfort zone a million times. I stand corrected haha Ty sister
I believe I was led to you. Thank you, that makes more sense to me now. I thought I was supposed to put a yoke on, but I didn't realize that it was with him, no wonder it doesn't work that way. I can't unsee this. Thank you, I was led to buy your book and it came to my door, I can't wait to start reading it. I am glad to have been led to your channel!
Finding that "comfort zone" truly resonates with me right now. Finding that sweet spot can be elusive at times. So many cares of this world so quickly draw us away. Yes, leading us to believe we can fix things. That if we just do this, or say that, somehow we can have an impact on the end result. But does our desire to do so fall within this most beautiful teaching on that "Comfort Zone?" Or are we guided by doubt, fear, or worry? For me, the teachings of Messiah were explicit. Intent is everything. May I always examine my motives when feeling this way. Perhaps asking whether the yoke is easy may be a sure indicator. Peace be with you my beloved teacher.
@@mrhuxley123 Remember that worry, riches and pleasure are the thorns that choke out the Word. So anything related to those you’ll want to use an internal boundary with to protect yourself and your heart. I usually pray 2 Chron. 20: I don’t know what to do Lord, but my eyes are on you! and/or Matt. 6:33: Seek first the kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. Those two seem to put me at ease and remind me that whatever the issue may be, I can fully trust the Lord with it and leave it in his hands. Then immediately I go and do what he’s leading me to do and have peace about it trusting He will take care of it in His time and His way.
Hello my Brothers/Sisters in Christ 👋. Do we have any "Joseph's" or "Daniel's" in the comment section? 😅 - I had a dream before my husband and I were married, we both had a bowl of ramen noodles with a boiled egg on top and my husband suddenly started to vomit the egg yolk (not yoke lol) profusely like a fire hose and I had both hands cupped together to collect it. Oddly enough i wasn't disgusted as I would have been in my waking life. The yoke was coming out in cup loads, I couldn't contain it all in my hands. Thats all i remember (i did journal my dream if any one needs more details). I know The Lord gives the interpretation of dreams and I have asked Him but sometimes interpretation can come from another Believer. Please comment only if you feel Spirit led, thank you 😇 Edit: For further context - me and my husband are what people would call "Unequally yoked". He is a "oneness believer" and I'm not ( i try to understand his teaching/understanding of it all but i get very confused and then we just don't talk about it 🤷🏻♀️😅🤦🏻♀️).
Yes his yoke, one of my daily verses. True freedom in Christ. Be strong in the Lord for his power is mighty, second verse I love. Thank you 🙏💖
