These are the best live performers in Zimbabwe right now. These guys are huge in Europe more than Zimbabwe.
For me the most under appreciated group in Zim yet their performances are unmatched.
The only band in Zimbabwe that is World Class.

Two weeks back I was invited to attend a performance from these guys in Mutare. I refused as I didn’t know about them.!I was eventually persuaded and I forcibly agreed. Since then I can’t stop playing their music. My wife always asks me what I am playing and I always respond saying telling her that was once in the same boat as her, I always tell her to wait until she attends one of these guys live performances.

No, it's not that we don't appreciate them. The Zim population is not their target market. Otherwise vakaimba in Ndebele and Shona vanowana more local following. But kuita mbiri locally unfortunately does not pay.

You can tell that there isn,t just love but commitment to the art. These aren,t musicians who will stop making music because they,ve made money or something such. They are sooo authentic it is refreshing. Underrated in Zim.

Reminds me of the Bhundu Boys when they came back from the UK before it all fell apart. The sound and the outfits. I'm sure the bass player got his look from David Mankaba the late bassist of the Bhundu boys. Nostalgia
