First off I'd like to say that I enjoy all of your videos. I'm curious if you can help me I'm trying to find wheel alignment specs for my m998. I seen different numbers on different forums not sure which one is correct. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you again.

Hey thanks! I have put a new hydraulic booster and power steering pump on my Hmmwv and I have blurred it the way you do it steering left and right… but I’m still having problems with the steering and the brakes. Noise and performance what do you think???

Can you put solid doors on those soft tops? I saw that you did was there any modifications needed?

I've ALWAYS had hard doors, but I believe you need different striker pins. I do not think the door striker pins are the same for the hard and soft doors.

Just one more question. For the rear view mirror, what brand vehicle did you select? Hmmwv is not listed and hummer is but it says it is not compatible.

I didn’t catch what’s wrong with painted soft top. One of the first things I planned to do with mine.

The paint will chip and flake off in patches as time goes on.

Great channel! I have a m998 and trying to figure out a noise. When I give it gas it sounds like a leaf blower in the cab. As soon as I let off gas it goes away. More gas louder "leaf blower". Any ideas?
    I have 6.5 optimized engine

      I've never ran into that.

Lots of sound deadening sheets, its just the nature of the beast. When your speed is up the motor is at its limits so its just high rpm. its an aluminum can. 55 mph is is a good day. Im having a LS96 motor and 4L80E trans. to take some of that strain off everything in my rig. I love the Humvee, once you get it dialed in they are unbeatable. It usually takes the all mighty dollar to remedy it. Good luck.

How does your soft top hold against weather? Any water leaking into the cabin?

Not very well. I keep it inside whenever it rains 🌩 or snows 🌨. Leaks like crazy!
