I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

YES, they perfomance in GMA... the choreo is so nostalgic.
There's also one detail that Beomgyu mentioned that is important on order to really grasp the purpose of the choreo, is that if you see them expressing the moves each member differently is not cus they're aren't on sync but instead of making the choreo sharp till the tip of the fingers they decided it was best that each member get free will of how they want to express the sentiment of the choreo. This choreo isn't filled with challenging and "hard" moves the difficulty to pull the choreo is abt being able to maintain the high tension of expressing the song throughout the whole performance.

I was a traditional dancer for 17 years (but now i'm resting for a while😬). My teacher always taught me to 'feel' and understand the song when i learnt a dance, so i could express the emotions and the audiences could felt it too. When the first time i watched 0X1 mv, i cried. Even i haven't read the subtitle, i could feel the song's emotion through their mv. They did a great job. I'm so proud of them💙

the bridge when you said "not choreographed" I remembered yeonjun saying, he suggested that instead of soobin holding his shoulder make it on his neck so you can really feel the emotion. it's not that connected but I'm happy to share this hehe

TXT are really experts on synchronized jumps, there's compilation of stills from them jumping at the same level on their choreos.

When you watch the fancams you can see how much emotion they put into the dance 🥺 All 5 are so incredible to watch. Especially Yeonjun’s is out of this world.

For me, TXT has the most synchronised dancing among 4th gen idols. I mean, just look at the angle, the 'invisible' line they had, all of it
when you paused on the impressively synchronized jump i was so impressed to notice taehyun is still singing the backup ad lib vocal in the middle of it!

Jeff, I learn something from each of your great reaction videos. Thank you for recognizing the work that each member of TxT puts into their dance routines. They've all been spending more time in the gym for this new album and comeback. I can see why they all needed to strengthen their endurance levels.
TXT has mentioned (namely Beomgyu) that for 0X1=LOVESONG they focused on emotions. They didn’t push to polish “synchronising” as much, because they wanted each individual member to pour in their own emotions in the moves without too much restriction.
But we all know this is TOMORROW X TOGETHER, they’re always polished period.
Since the title track is quite angsty, each individual may interpret it differently. Hence why you might notice that each member may evoke a different emotion in their dances.
In a way it allows a bit of their individual dance styles to shine I guess. You can see the difference in Beomgyu, Soobin and Yeonjun’s “say you love me” parts... they do different gestures and facial expressions.
Overall the pain and conflict of emotions within the boys differ but sync at the same time. I find THAT beautiful.

You were actually right, that part where Soobin and yeonjun face each other, they did put their own twist to it. That part where Soobin puts his hand on yeonjuns neck like he’s choking him is something they did themselves
You can see more details on their fancam (mostly from m2) and you'll be amazed by their ability to express the song! I specially love how Beomgyu express his emotion in this song! It's amazing! But i love all of them. Heheh.

What is important for me - when choreo describes the music. And this is exactly the case with 0X1=LOVESONG. It's an emotional choreo and I think facial expression (they are nailed) are the points here.

TXT embodied they're song and interpreted it in their choreography. Thank you for such a detailed and sincere reaction. They've really grown and matured from their debut.
Usually their title track will have the hardest choreo for them, but they've said this time 0x1=Lovesong was relatively easy compared to one of the B sides No Rules, which is properly exhausting. They did a live performance of it which you should definitely check out.
Beomgyu mentioned in an interview that he suggested that instead of trying to maintain their usual level of synchronisation, they keep the matching movements to a minimum, and allow their emotions to really come through in their dancing and the way they expressed themselves. He even mentioned something about not matching up the movement of their fingers, which you also noticed. Soobin also mentioned that he told the choreographer he was going to try to not learn his center/solo parts perfectly, and try to just move organically and differently each time.
I think their decisions worked so well, and really helped show the overall feeling of the song beautifully.

I like how having handheld mics was an artistic decision just as much as the choreography itself.

I love what you said about the whole performance “setup”. Me myself being a performer know about these things and i can assure you that it requires a lot of training to be able to make an impact on the audience. You know what you’re talking about and i really appreciate that you said all of these things on this txt reaction video. TXT are amazing performers, they recently said on an interview that they tried to express their feeling while dancing even if the choreography is not synchronized since the purpose of this song is to convey/give a message to their fans.

The boys have suggested to edit out and add certain moves for this one. They indeed really focused on emotion. This title track itself is one of the best released this year hands down. From the littlest details, lyricism, melody, beat, just the overall song, choreography and emotions its amazing.

there will be a music video for “Magic” which is an all English song that is coming out tmrw. It is in their full album which 0x1 lovesong is in! it’ll be promoted in American shows, they just performed at the good morning America show and also will perform in the James corden show 😌
I don’t anything about dancing, but that volleyball analogy was so useful for me to understand, as I play the sport. It made me understand a bit more about dancing. :)

Just like the title's pronunciation, TXT is actually pronounced as T by T, not T eks T. But prolly many MOAs preferred it as "T eks T" but when we are talking about the correct pronunciation, it's T by T because Tomorrow x (by) Together, not Tomorrow x (eks) Together.

Actually Soobin and Yeonjun did adjust the choreography by their own. And Soobin was also supposed to just hold Yeonjun's shoulder, but Yeonjun suggested that Soobin hold his neck instead, so the scene will look more intimate.
