Sahana Sarkar actually...this lovely had some turbulence a few years back. She went inward and started meditating. I followed her tutorial last evening and did my first meditation EVER. Matte. Always. 🤗
I became a collector hoarder. I dont know how it got to this point without it bothering me, but now... It drives me nuts and gives me crazy anxiety.Trying to sell it off on ebay. Give me luck!!
@@andyspooner5608 how is everything going? Hoarding is actually a mental disorder which is why it is so difficult for hoarders to get rid of things. My mother took at least ten years to convince her to allow us to donate all of the clothes that I had as a child as well as toys and even instruments that we don't need. The days we took to clear everything out she was sobbing non-stop :/ I hope things are going far more smooth for you!!
Same here I have been doing this for a while now, it's really easy and my house is always tidy without effort. When it's time to clean I can drive right into it, no need to put things away first!
The way you look, the way you speak and most importantly your thoughts.. everything is just so beautiful and soothing 😍I love to watch your content and it is really very motivating
Sadia!! YOU are my INSPIRATION! I cleaned up my room over this past couple of months, started having a plant based diet, tried the recipes you've got... I AM HAPPY. Thank you so much and I would really love to meet you in person someday! :D Namaste!
Sadia, I've just found your channel and I am enjoying it so much! I love how your calm, accepting demeanor and no-nonsense tips inspire me. Sometimes watching TH-cam (or other media) can have the opposite effect... watching the beauty and ease with which life seems to come to others can make me feel overwhelmed and down instead of uplifted and inspired. You manage to uplift and inspire with your beautiful images and tone. Thank you for all your content on minimalism and NOURISHING ourselves, body and soul. I appreciate you, and I'm embarking on a journey of feeling better. Thank you for these gifts. -Leslie
Its harder when the gifts came from a parent and you have outgrown them. Letting go of the gifts was the biggest issue I had before this video. Thank you for helping me adopt a new mindset.
The Drop Zone is a popular trend in Home Organizing circles. If you need ideas, check out Pinterest! I remember seeing some inspiring ideas & fun ways to turn a small space or mudroom into an area where you can circulate things coming in & going out easily.
Ys Hv been Donating Already....but still hvto.. So will do.. Many people hv shiftd..nd so during covid..many away frm homes..may require stuff we hv in Excess..but not using...so They will accept wth Gratitude what we domate..or dont want...😀😍🙏🙏🙏
I'm so excited about this collab!!! I love both of your channels, you each have your own personal brand of a very calm, clean and inspiring style of content creation. Thank you for making our lives richer!
Thank you, Sadia! I haven't been following you for a long time, but I love every single video so far. I love the idea of a donation box; I have a lot of stuff around the house I want to donate but I always forget. Also, your personality is so soothing and sweet. I've made a couple of changes in my life based on your videos and already feel less cluttered and stressed. I had no idea such small changes could make so much impact. Thank you! Love from Groningen ❤
You are one of the few younger TH-camrs who speaks so eloquently. You don't use buzz words or trendy sayings. It's very refreshing that there are still people out there like this.
I need to thank you for what you have done for me. I hope you read this comment. You are an amazing and inspiring person whose videos brought me out of depression as soon as it hit me. I thank you for being there for me. Bless you!
I want to fall aslepp when I see ur vdos. Everything from ur voice, expressions, n images in the vdo is so calming n relaxing. I literally feel like I mediated
I love the drop zone idea. I do something similar in the kitchen - I have a basket I take with me when I go grocery shopping and I put empty glass jars/paper, returnable bottles, empty batteries and such right in there so I never forget to take them with me when I leave the house to go to the supermarket.
#44 on tending! Way to go! I love the empty hand tip. I have been trying to declutter and not accumulate. I have been practicing "Do not put it down, put it away." at work and at home. Thank you for making this channel. I derive a lot of inspiration from you and hope to pass what I learn onto others.
These steps a r totally DOABLE!!! I'm at the looking for doable things. Especially with 3 kids and husband that are far from the desire to become minimalist, I'm finding these thing completely life changing, and subtle enough for the crew to be ok with it! Great video! Much Love~ Des!
I have kept a pretty basket in my hall for a long time. I call it the "donate basket." With three young children I find that there is always something that is outgrown or just not needed anymore, and I toss it in the basket until a trip to the donation thrift store happens. I loved seeing that you do this too, Sadia! Love your channel so much, and so excited for every new video! 💗
I have learned so much about minimalist and healthy living from you, thank you! I'm amazed at how far I've come almost all from learning from other TH-camrs!
I really love both your channel and Jenny Mustard's. It's almost like two parts of a series. I love the way they are filmed and the content. Thank you!
I really enjoy your videos!! They're very helpful!! I'm still living in the same apartment that me and my late Grandmother shared for 29 years and even though she's been gone for nearly 10 years now!! There's still a bit of clutter I'm clinging on too!! So I have set myself a date for September 23rd of this year, which would've been her 90th birthday to get rid of every single piece of clutter in my house!! And I will achieve it!! Thanks again for your very inspiring videos!!
Jenny has quite literally changed my life. I absolutely love her style and way of living, and of course, her eccentric flair. So happy you guys are collaborating together. Much love to both of you lovely girls! x
Great ideas! One of your previous videos suggested tidying up your home every time you will be gone for a while. We did this all summer (lots of road trips, vacations) and I couldn't believe the difference it made when you walk in!
Great tips. A lot of which I do already, which means I'm on the right track. I cleaned out two small boxes of knick knacks I was saving and most are being donated. It also made me clean out my china hutch and rearrange and just keep those items that are sentimental to us. Thanks for another great video. xo
A system that frees one from the life-robbing presence of physical clutter and positive points to practice everyday...thank you for this lovely video. God Bless.
Just discovered your channel. It's funny because I already do everything you mentioned. It came instinctively to me. Some other things I do to keep my house clean and organized: I have a recycling area in my garage. The recycling service in my neighborhood only picks up carton/paper and plastic containers. So I have a box for clear/brown/blue-green glass, one for old fabric, one for batteries, expired medicine, electronics etc. Twice a year I do the round of the different recycling centers in my area that take these items for recycling.
Thank you so much for your videos! You inspire me so much! I've started to write scripts to make videos in august about my own field (but in french!) in a certain part because of you. You provide us so much serenity, motivation and happiness by your channel!
For ages We hv been receivng such gifts... Some we dispose off..as its not gud..sometmes immediately.. And if we look out for it..well Viola somebody takes it away... It adds positive vibes whenever I watch your videos.. More than content I like the way you deliver them.. Genuine happiness and satisfaction shown on your face not easy to earn at all..
Thankyou good information and guidance for rotating possessions, passing on items to a good home in need, bargains etc......your tips certainly unclutter the mind and make life easier. I will pass on your tips to my friend Yvonne who is challenged by hoarding, hence creating unnecessary stress! Im a minimalist but items still accumulate especially papper work. 🌸
Drop Zone! Why didn't I think of that? Awesome idea! P.S. You're beautiful. I love watching your videos because they're so peaceful and I always take away new (and useful) information.
I am on my own after 40 yrs of marriage and family decluttering was hard but not impossible and it takes time. I embrace my small apartment and reminds me of my university days when I had very little but was content and happy. A memory lasts a long time. Keep what makes you happy.
This is the simplest and most helpful video i've come across! Thank you for these great tips - i feel like these are habits i could actually adopt and do on a daily basis.
Nearly cried seeing that you and Jenny collabed 😭 Jenny has been a really big influencer on my minimalism mindfulness for about 2 years now and your channel's content has definitely had the same impact in the short months I've been viewing. Thank you so much, Sadia
No. Matter what u up.. No. Matter what ur content. I trust u blindly. U r beautiful inside and outside. No misleading no harm could be done by u. I trust u.. U inspire me immensely..
I absolutely love this! I was the same after travelling and just living out of a backpack. I got home and realised it isn't the material items that make us happy!
I just discovered your channel, I dont even know where to start, everything about your channel is great and your voice is so friendly and welcoming, sounds like the voice of someone who really wants the best for everyone :)
Just found your channel and am loving it! As a 9 year vegetarian, and recently mostly vegan (hopefully one day I'lll get there, but for now I'm doing the best I can!), I find your videos so helpful! I was surprised to see how new your channel was because you already have a huge following, that's so amazing!!! :) Excited for all your future videos!
Been a fan of the fabulous Mustards for quite a while now. Jenny is probably one of the first channels I ever subscribed to. I loved your tips. There are a few I'll be implementing right away. Thanks.
I love your creative tips! I also came back from a 6 month backpacking trip with a desire to get rid of everything! But I hope you get that cute pink/purple floral dress :)
I thought the same and expected a shot of Jenny's holding it like Marie Kondo ("it brings me joy") :D Just discovered this channel looking for inspiration to keep my place minimalistic.
I really love all your videos so far ! I really like that they're never too long because , I never feel like oh I don't have time to watch this video or that video etc..
We just moved house, which was a great opportunity to part with the things that no longer make us happy. Now we will strive to not clutter the new place with meaningless stuff. Thank you for your minimalist tips and inspirations, Sadia! 😌
One thing I do is take a picture of the gift then title it " gift from Michele for my 58th birthday" before I let go of it . I intend to put all the pictures in a scrapbook to thumb through on tough days to remember I am loved. Thank you for being an inspiring part of my life! I learned some great things from this video and am implementing some changes TODAY! ☺
Just came from Jenny Mustard's channel and absolutely loved these tips! The drop zone and the tag along items are both thing's I will try and implement. Such a wonderful video
You emulate everything I want to be. I’m a chef in my career and have a hard time keeping my home tidy. I low key wish I was a TH-cam chef instead 😭 Keep being inspirational ❤️
I just discovered your channel and I'm a raving fan! First off, I love the way you speak. I know that sounds really weird- but you have a really soothing voice that is calming and seems to brush away all other distractions on the internet. I love your holistic living in both body, spirit and soul. So inspiring! You are beautiful and organic and genuine. Thank you for existing the way you do on here. You bring beauty in the most organic way to TH-cam.
Sadia.. your videos has changed my life ya.. my view points has changed in terms of many thing.. actually i am seeing the difference with my own eyes.. Last year summer vacation I came back to my home with like 3 huge bags full of things.. which now i reaslise are not necessary at all, when i came back home for a whole one month vacation with just one bag.. 6th months back i was like a complete non vegetarian.. vegetables are like ghosts fr me.. n living a vegan life was a nightmare.. But now i can see i m slowly changing.. actually.. from last 3 months i m having veggies.. which once i literally used to hate.. Your videos keep me motivated.. I feel so calm i just cant express.. keep your videos coming.. Lot of love..
Instead of a donation box, I just put things I no longer need in upstairs closet so is out sight/out of the way and empty out after a couple months of collecting items. Also for everything new I bring in, I try to remove something. Its amazing how fast we collect stuff. Love the drop zone idea!
Loved this video! The tips here are practical and perfectly just right to achieve the goals. I love the "empty hands" tip, coz mine always are. One question, what products / tools do you use in your home cleaning regiment? Could you make a video of that? Coz, I've always wondered if there's a way to streamline the cleaning products / tools to as few and as multi-functional as possible. Thanks!
What a wonderful video! I love being a minimalist. I however, still buy things I want but it has to be the perfect reason to buy it and it's not often. I do choose spend money on plants.. lol I love the greenery and love having my house filled with it. ♥️

Jenny Mustard yes you two are my faves!!!
Jenny Mustard for real😍
Sending you both lots of love and light, so glad you two collaborated on a video!
Your home is so bright and clean! I like the idea of trying to remember what's in the bag and then just donating it!
My husband is a hoarder. This video made me think that maybe I should send him on an extended backpacking trip ; )
Hahahaha mine too!
😂😂
haha, mine too. I am slowly purging the crap he collects, UGH

The kitchen is the hardest for me! I'd love a minimalist kitchen vid!
Wow .. very simple, but works ! Especially the last one ! LOOVED IT!
Sadia.. your videos has changed my life ya.. my view points has changed in terms of many thing.. actually i am seeing the difference with my own eyes..
I love how you've set up your kitchen! Can you do a kitchen tour?
Collaboration of both of my favourite TH-camrs! My life is complete 🙌🏼
Instead of a donation box, I just put things I no longer need in upstairs closet so is out sight/out of the way and empty out after a couple months of collecting items. Also for everything new I bring in, I try to remove something. Its amazing how fast we collect stuff. Love the drop zone idea!
Great colab and great tips! And what a sweet intro.
She's the best, that Jenny, isn't she?
Loved this video! The tips here are practical and perfectly just right to achieve the goals. I love the "empty hands" tip, coz mine always are. One question, what products / tools do you use in your home cleaning regiment? Could you make a video of that? Coz, I've always wondered if there's a way to streamline the cleaning products / tools to as few and as multi-functional as possible. Thanks!
Your tips are gem! Thank you for the tips Sadia!
What a wonderful video! I love being a minimalist. I however, still buy things I want but it has to be the perfect reason to buy it and it's not often. I do choose spend money on plants.. lol I love the greenery and love having my house filled with it. ♥️
