I used worsted weight 4ply yarn and US size 7 needles. It fits foot length 8 inches to 11 inches. The stretch is great. They worked out even better with US size 8.

I was going to say “I can’t believe why you have no comments yet!!” Now I know why .. you just loaded the video on 4 hours ago 😊 beautiful and so simple and hopefully as quick as you. I have a question, do you know how many stiches I should cast on to make a square with a very chunky yarn? Ive never used very chunky yarn before with 19 mm size needles and mens size 9 🧐 even if you have any suggestions. Im making them for my husband to put in his stocking for fun 😚😉 he goes through slippers every 2 months because our floors are hardwood. He expects new ones and he wont throw any away till Ive got a new pair(s) ready. So to be quicker I thought Id try really thick and chunky 🤷‍♀️thank you so much for your video of just simple square and make them into a fashion foot wear!

Garter stitch is stretchy. I make samples and adjust from there.
