People believe this is the "persecution of the Church" but this is not. It is the persecution of the Chosen and the Disciples and the whole church are not the chosen. We just want to be. We hope to be. But if the Two Witnesses say even one book is wrong or that some books are not from the Lord, most of us will reject them and say bad things about them, even though they are Witnesses to the truth and will use the Word to prove everything they say. This generation is not ready for that. Our adversaries have been busy.

I very much enjoyed the video. Thank you for taking your time and explaining these parables, understanding is much needed among Christians in our walk with Christ. It is the life in us which bears fruit. Our fruit is what feeds other Christians and I believe it is pleasing to God. Happy Tuesday Brother.

Chapter 13 verse 13 is one of my favorite and most quoted scriptures. As it turns out, 1 Corinthians 13:13 is one i personally struggle with. Being 13 is a VERY relevant number in my life, it's no coincidence
@@scapegoat1313 I took a look at 1 Corinthians 13:13. So, prior to this specific verse, Paul is telling the Corinthians about spiritual gifts. The Corinthians (specifically) are preoccupied with who was wiser, more important, more spiritual... etc. So they would all have wanted the spiritual gift of whatever they believed best. 1st they wanted tongues... but Paul was trying to get them to understand that all the gifts were awesome, but especially the ones that could lift up or edify the church. The gift of tongues would edify oneself, while the gift of prophecy would edify the church. So then the Corinthians wanted prophecy. To further explain to them, Paul told them, if any gift wasn't grounded in love, it wasn't good. Tongues without love sounds like a gong. Giving up everything to feed the poor, gains us nothing without love... like, "doing" stuff gets you nowhere with God. He wants the heart. With God, we are able to love. When God loves us, and we receive that love, it fills us and then overflows. A natural response would be to pass on the overflow. That overflow coupled with a spiritual gift, is powerful beyond measure. Paul wanted the Corinthians to focus on eternal things, not the gift itself. Worship the gift-giver not the gift. 1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. Abide means to act in accordance with or to accept. Act in faith, and hope (regarding spiritual gifts) but don't forget to ground yourself first in love. Have a relationship with the Gift-giver and then seek the gift. I hope I didn't confuse you with all this. My husband also has a love of numbers. He's in the medical field and has that science brain. God often uses numbers to get his attention. Every once in awhile though, he has to be reminded that the number isn't ever more important than the number giver! 😉
I believe when we understand it's not the time we are ready. It's because the time that we already comes from the time. That God calls us and when God calls us, we are ready. Remember, he first loved us for. So when we get a parable, it's all real to us because it was already there. That's what makes it not a mystery to those who believe
My brother "hardening of the heart" doesn't mean "coldness, insensitive or dullness. The biblical hardening is that God allows the person to be the worse of what they can possibly be with no restrictions. In the case of Pharoh, God allow this so God can show His strength and power over all of the ten plagues. 5 above and 5 below, to humble Pharoh.
You have pretty good understanding with a lot of Truths from the Bible. I wonder if you could actually find the truth on 2 major subjects that sets God's people apart from the world. Which day is the Christian Sabbath? And which church is doing the work of God today? There's only 1 true church in which God calls the very elect and small remnant, which church? Send me what you got and let's reason together
I'm glad this video was helpful to some. I couldn't grasp what you were saying, you jumped around from parable to parable and to me the transition explanation wasn't smooth,so I didn't get the points of emphasis you were making. I usually can follow your message and get the point of your breaking down of the scripture you're referring to. Not being critical,I appreciate your ministry and the time you put in it.
Matt 13:13-15 Jesus spoke in parables so that everyone is aware of their spiritual need for understanding from Christ. Those who can't understand them need to improve on themselves by seeking knowledge and making Christ their only teacher, not men. The same instruction goes for anyone who has a dream or vision from God and doesn't understand it. Also, the same goes for those who speak in tongues and dont understand what they are saying because they can't translate what they are saying or no translator is around given the gift to translate it. 1 Cor 14:21,22, Isaiah 28:11, Isaiah 29. These are all examples showing a disconnect from God and spiritual poverty. Happy is the one conscious of it and will do something about it. The correction needed on your part is to seek God for knowledge and allow Christ, as your mediator, to be your only literal teacher. I'm not talking about learning from life lessons and mistakes 🙄. I'm talking about asking God your Bible questions and having Bible studies with Jesus, not men. John 16 explains who you ask and who fills in as mediator between you and God and teaches you. It's how gaining knowledge works. Ask the guy the book is about. John 5:39,40 "You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about ME, yet YOU REFUSE to come to ME to have life." If you can't understand Jesus' words, then ask him what he meant. He's not dead, so don't treat him as he is. He did not abandon you as orphans to figure everything out on your own, so stop acting like he did. "The Kingdom of Heaven" is knowledge.
The gift of interpretation of dreams or tongues is not given to everyone…your understanding and spiritual maturity does not gain you the gift. It is simply given to you by grace. Even Daniel didnt understand one of his dreams until an angel revealed it to him during a fast.
Ok,so if i ask God a question about scripture and He reveals it to me through a video, did He answer my question or did man answer the question? If im curious about a specific passage and i read it over a couple times, then ask God what is going on in the passage; if He leads me to search on google and I receive revelation, did God show me or did i get the answer from a google search that gave me understanding? Some teach, some share, some are able to understand divine things faster. Everyone is different and everyone’s walk is different. Study to show yourself approve doesnt mean bury your face in scripture so you can receive gifting. As much as God wants to gift us, what He really wants is a relationship so that the wisdom and understanding He does give us can be a blessing to others. Yes, Jesus is our only teacher. However, the method He will use to teach you is not a 1 size fits all formula. This is what im getting from your comment. Not everyone can study or read or teach to those degrees and God knows that. You have the gifts God gives you for YOUR calling and for a reason. If youre not called to interpret dreams or tongues then you either didnt receive that gift for a specific reason or the Holy Spirit didnt reveal what the dream meant for you yet. Staying close to God is the best choice you can make but it doesnt “earn” or allow you to gain those giftings. Its solely up to God whether He wants to grace you for it or not.
@TheGraceRace. If you ask God, then turn to any other source of men teaching for your understanding, then you halfway turned to God but then turned to men. This is called being "Lukewarm." Men get the understanding of Lukewarm wrong, so if you are taught a different understanding by men, then it's wrong. Read Rev 3- Laodicea- It's about who you turn to for knowledge. Jesus wishes, when you go about seeking knowledge, you'd do it right or don't do it at all because this halfway turning to him is causing a big mess with false teachings spreading around. He will reject you. This is also why many swear they are doing many powerful works in his name but yet Jesus rejects them. James 1:5-8 says that if you lack wisdom or biblical insight, you should ask God. God will give wisdom without finding fault in the person asking. BUT if you "doubt" and become "double minded," like a wave tossed around to and fro, then God considers you unstable minded, and you shouldn't expect to get any insight from Him. People "doubt" God can teach them personally and turn to see what men have to say on the topic. This is being unstable minded. God won't waste His time teaching you if you are going to halfway turn to Him. The New Covenant is about us turning to God only for knowledge, no longer turning to men. Hebrews 8:6-13 God found fault with men misleading men with their teachings, so He set out to make a New Covenant that no longer has us turning to men. God Himself will teach those who turn to Him. Jesus is the middle man mediator of this agreement/ covenant. He mediates between us and God. So we still follow the rules of the New Covenant and ask the Father, then Jesus, who we are under, is the one who answers our prayers for knowledge and teaches us. Jesus uses the Holy Spirit to communicate his(Jesus') answers to us. In John 16, Jesus explains this process of asking The Father for knowledge with himself as a mediator, but makes it clear that we still have to personally ask the Father ourselves. John 16:26b Jesus said, "I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf." You have to be stubborn and not turn to men. God will test your loyalty in this. Your mindset needs to be: "I want all my knowledge from God. If He doesn't give it to me, then I will live my life with nothing. I will not turn to men."
Father wants his children to know the real world he created in the beginning. Father said he seperated the water and everything inside is called the firmament. This means we do not live on a globe and infinite universe. Revelations says Fathers home is about 1500 miles above us. The land of the watchers or Earth is square and the four corners that Yashua said he would search for his children. We live on the circle as Isiah has said. The Garden of Eden is at the North Pole. It has been years of studying and prayer to see the Truth. There is proff this is true.
He said he spoke in parables because it is given to you to know the mystery from the foundations of the earth. But to them it is not given. Therefore I speak to them in parables. So that they hear but not perceive , to see yet they do not discern , and understand with their hearts , and turn and I'd have to heal them. End There is a message in the scriptures that will ever elude you.
(To Abrahamic religion or those who uphold the gospel of god/messiah/idol) Luk 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits(national) worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. Mat 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!(messianic proponents) for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he is become so, ye make him twofold more a son of HELL than yourselves. (To nations) Mat 22:21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's. (Make your stand - goat or sheep, Mat 25:32) Mat 5:37 But let your speech be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: and whatsoever is more than these is of the evil one. Mat 25:32 and before him shall be gathered all the NATIONS: and he shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats;
Genesis 3.18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee and shalt eat the herb of the field. Isaiah 34.13 And Thorns shall come up in her palaces nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof and it shall be an habitation of dragons and a court for owls. Isaiah 27.4 Fury is not in me who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them I will burn them together. Psalms David said I am a owl in the desert. Psalms 104.12 By them shall the fowls of heaven have their habitation with sing among the branches. Jesus spoke about faith as a mustard seed. Isaiah upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers yea upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city. Isaiah 33.12 And the people shall be as the burning of lime as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire. God is a consuming fire. Is not my word like as fire saith the Lord a hammer that breaketh the rock to pieces. It's a two edged sword. The prophets are the thorns in your side. The crown of thorns. Numbers 33.55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you then it shall come to pass that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes and thorns in your sides and shall vexation you in the land where in you dwell. The eye is the mind. To open your eyes of understanding.
When did you miss the fact he says he sowed seed to places touched by consumption and that is a comparison to his ability, or turnout and the wrongs committed toward those trying to do decent work. Now , think he was saying he placed some, they strife lived , they were ruined .birds are the reason we learned that life before human was at least some that was abused later by example of sodomy. Birds, snakes , any creature that was created egg laying one entry ..so the varied creation shows Jesus was feeding the lives even if evil, or especially because they were doing what others didn't want...intro to sodom or Gomorrah. You might think it's wrong yet part was brought to decades ago. No means no , not to fake truck or trap. Confession or explanation? Yes it's that way
God makes it possible, and those people are really, I'm sorry, are full of ridicule and aren't paying attention to you or the words or trying to discern what is actually being said. I been struggling with the gospel for 30 years incapable of read it with real comprehension thanks for letting God make you the vessel, remember he planned it all but he probably has the right to edit at will so please try not to sound to confident I do it my wife says it makes me look arrogant, but I don't know much, just sediment
There’s nothing wrong with confidence- the disciple Peter in scripture was constantly depicted as confident in his faith. I believe what you fear in yourself is pride. Some people can take the word and genuinely understand it as it is given. Others do not have that gift. Don’t worry about what others think of you if you know through the Holy Spirit that you’re on the right path. People are going to despise you because they won’t understand your joy, love, etc.. though what matters is what God thinks of you. Focus on your relationship with Him and that understanding of what you believe is pride will reveal itself as the proper confidence. And who on earth can take that joy out of your heart? 😉
Three of the four soils are born again. Only ONE makes it into the kingdom. TWO lose their salvation. Study to know how and why you could lose your salvation. 1. Afflictions and persecution 2. Cares and worries of this life. Recognize these dangers in your life.
I don't see how one parable is the key to understanding every other parable. All parables are different but the end result of parables is basically the same.
Sorry, buddy. THis is one I believe you have explained in error. The Matthew principle is well known at this point as is its manifestation in the human experience. You might want to pray for a better understanding and try this one again. Take care when making illogical claims without evidence. You made a few here. The Bible is logically valid.
@@AboveReproachMinistry If you are seriously seeking the knowledge . . . "The Matthew Principle" is one of many names given to what is called "the Pareto distribution" in the academic study of mathematics and statistics. You just read Jesus describing it wonderfully, long before Vilfredo Pareto first graphed the mathematical explanation for it. To those with much more is given and to those with little all will be taken. You are obviously an intelligent young man - research it. God is truth. Logic is a tool used to determine truth using reason. It is math. There are several powerful and wonderful mathematical laws that, to me, not only prove, but beautifully and powerfully display the wondrousness of Yahweh. This is one of those. Give me a minute and I will get a timestamp for the spot where you make an assumption without evidence. When one teaches about the Word, one is wise to teach the facts . . . the truth . . . and leave one's opinions at the door. They will be waiting there for you when you are finished teaching the truth. Debating Biblical scripture and reasoning over them is wonderful and beneficial for all who do so in the Spirit. It is a tool of discovery and revelation. But it is not teaching. They are separate endeavors. It is important to keep them separate to avoid teaching ones opinions as facts.
At 3:08 you state as fact that "it is also a commonly traveled path" and claim people are going to trample upon the seed on the path. I must assume that you do not farm. Seed is planted in a row, where the soil has been loosened and prepared to receive the seed. The Path is _between_ the rows and serves to hold water once the field is sown. It is _not_ "commonly traveled", especially after planting, as that would compact the soil next to the plant unnecessarily. To the contrary, the farmer does what he/she can to prevent foot traffic upon the path that is not directly needed ot care for the plant or harvest it. The path is a trough that is lower than the long mounded row where the seeds are meant to grow. The issue is that you made this claim based on nothing but an opinion. And that opinion appears to be uninformed. You state it as fact, but it is not. It is an error. It might do you well to help a friend or neighbor with their garden one year, from start to finish so you have experience with what Jesus is using as his parable here in Matthew. I say these things with love. I hope you understand this. God bless you and yours, buddy. Peace.
@@zippitydoodah5693 I’m happy you pointed out that error of mine. You’re right, from a farming and agricultural standpoint I am incorrect. I should’ve been more clear. In the natural and literal farming world, this would not occur. But the repeating theme throughout scripture of rebels trampling the word of God underfoot, or the Son of God, or His prophets is what I wanted to point out. This trampling underfoot indicates showing contempt for. All I was pointing out is that someone that has a hard heart shows no regard for the word of God and actually will end up showing contempt for the things of God if the individual doesn’t turn in repentance. It is the inevitable end of the unbelieving wicked all throughout scripture to “trample” the things of God underfoot. While this connection to the first soil might be unfounded, we can absolutely say this is the nature of hard hearted people all throughout human history. Either way, the enemy comes to steal what was planted. I hope you understand. Also, I think you’re mistaken to say that I thoroughly “explained this one in error” simply because of one incorrect farming detail. The main point of what I said is still true, as well as most every other detail as they don’t depend on this one tiny fact. Maybe next time say “one detail of your farming understanding is incorrect.” Like they say, don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. Otherwise it might seem as though you’re being unnecessarily nit-picky.

1 Corinthians 13:13
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Amien
Real understanding is felt
Can you or do you have a video on you bible marking method and symbols please
By having faith
I'm glad this video was helpful to some. I couldn't grasp what you were saying, you jumped around from parable to parable and to me the transition explanation wasn't smooth,so I didn't get the points of emphasis you were making. I usually can follow your message and get the point of your breaking down of the scripture you're referring to. Not being critical,I appreciate your ministry and the time you put in it.
The bigest barrier to coming to Christ is self-righteousness. "I'm too good for this lowly life, and not in need of it; this is illogical"
Matt 13:13-15
Jesus spoke in parables so that everyone is aware of their spiritual need for understanding from Christ.
John 5:39,40
"You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about ME, yet YOU REFUSE to come to ME to have life."
If you can't understand Jesus' words, then ask him what he meant. He's not dead, so don't treat him as he is. He did not abandon you as orphans to figure everything out on your own, so stop acting like he did.
"The Kingdom of Heaven" is knowledge.
Well explained!!
John 16:26b Jesus said,
"I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf."
You have to be stubborn and not turn to men. God will test your loyalty in this.
Your mindset needs to be: "I want all my knowledge from God. If He doesn't give it to me, then I will live my life with nothing. I will not turn to men."
@ManoloVintage well may I humbly ask, then why are you here, if not to learn?
And keeping it
Amen ❤
Jesus says... Draw near to me... and I will draw near to you. He speaks in code so that the truth is hid to those who are not looking for it.
No calvinism in those texts; that is clear.
He said he spoke in parables because it is given to you to know the mystery from the foundations of the earth. But to them it is not given. Therefore I speak to them in parables. So that they hear but not perceive , to see yet they do not discern , and understand with their hearts , and turn and I'd have to heal them. End
There is a message in the scriptures that will ever elude you.
(To Abrahamic religion or those who uphold the gospel of god/messiah/idol)
Luk 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits(national) worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
Mat 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!(messianic proponents) for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he is become so, ye make him twofold more a son of HELL than yourselves.
(To nations)
Mat 22:21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
(Make your stand - goat or sheep, Mat 25:32)
Mat 5:37 But let your speech be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: and whatsoever is more than these is of the evil one.
Mat 25:32 and before him shall be gathered all the NATIONS: and he shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats;
We walk with humans we talk
First to arrive
Second to arrive
God bless you
Genesis 3.18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee and shalt eat the herb of the field.
Yes it's that way
The thorns I believe are other religions and I believe that the thorn in Paul's side the messageour of Satan is a false religion ( baal)
1. Afflictions and persecution
2. Cares and worries of this life.
Recognize these dangers in your life.
I don't see how one parable is the key to understanding every other parable. All parables are different but the end result of parables is basically the same.
Because having ears to hear and a heart to seek for understanding is the key to knowing what the parables mean
Sorry, buddy. THis is one I believe you have explained in error. The Matthew principle is well known at this point as is its manifestation in the human experience. You might want to pray for a better understanding and try this one again. Take care when making illogical claims without evidence. You made a few here. The Bible is logically valid.
What do you disagree with?
What is the Matthew principle? I’d like to hear your specific disagreements with reasoning if possible so I can understand
Kalvinism is a false religion.
