Thank you for another great video. I usually find that what you are wearing is far more elegant than the what is being modeled. My compliments.
I have a beautiful light grey silk/cashmere summer jacket that really looks sharp. It is perfect as a foil for bright colors or sophisticated color combinations. You can wear basically wear whatever you want with it and it will always look sharp.
Thanks for sharing!
What you taught me is that grey isn't just for suits. Overall I don't own much grey, but now I am seeing options for wearing a grey jacket without it needing to be a full suit.
Thank you
I'm fascinated by the many options. It has never really occurred to me although in hindsight it's very obvious. Thank you for lending your expertise so generously.
Glad it was helpful!
Great content with lots of well thought through imagination in the alternative ensemble presentations. The only problem I have with a grey jacket worn as shown in the video is that - to me - it looks too much like a jacket taken from a suit. I would want such a jacket - especially if it is an expensive one - to look like it is intended to be worn as a stand alone garment. I am happy to be persuaded that this lovely jacket meets that test.
I think this is why personally I'd prefer a grey tweed jacket, perhaps in a herringbone weave
@@Molach101 Me too.👍
Excellent advice and inspiration. Many thanks.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback!
You look great, but I'm starting to turn grey & so I'm reluctant to wear grey in my clothes, as I'm afraid it will make me look even older 😣
I'm wondering what people think of the lighter grey jacket + navy blue trousers combination. A fair number online seem to dislike it or find it harder to pull off
I agree. A navy blue jacket with light grey trousers looks better than the colour combination the other way round.
Terrific video Chris. This summer (I live in NZ) I've invested in cream single pleat trousers in a linen wool blend. What you say about creasing is so true. These slacks are very comfortable but retain their shape much better than my pure linen ones.
I’d like to see more emphasis on peaked lapels as is the coat you are wearing.
Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate your suggestion and will definitely consider it for future content.
if it's good enough for James Bond it's go enough for me!
But the flannel suit looks much better
Super! Mighty interesting dude.
Another great video!! Very informative and helps me put together different looks. Always look forward to the next video!!!
По-моему серый пиджак лучше всех остальных сочетается с жёлтыми галстуками.
I'm working in a bank and even this outfit would be seen as to formal and "to dressed up" ...
Sad in which world we live in...can not even wear a nice suit in the right context without getting envy and hate for it.
We appreciate your perspective!
