My bank account ran away and hid in a corner when this video started playing. My copy of Stellas Daemonum arrived with a damaged dust jacket as well but once I started reading it I didn't care. Fantastic and unique content.

Dear associate practitioner. Your book feed was very intriguing. I imagine that a video on why you live to read so much and how it has affected your life would be the best possible intro video on your page. I believe it may hook more individuals like myself who tend to learn from others sources and so have not developed the habit.

Thank you for all your inspiration! I recieved Tantra Illuminated by Wallis right before Christmas and waiting to receive Stellas Daemonum soon. And actually, I just now ordered Nicholas Flamel´s Hieroglyphical Key! (Ouroborus Press)...looking forward to that one a lot!
Happy New Year! Hope you had a great time and wishing you all the best for 2022. Really looking forward to the reviews of these. I think you've already previously covered most of the books that I picked up from my last Watkins visit(s), but 2 recommendations are The History of Magic, by Chris Gosden, the other is Finding the Mother Tree, by Suzanne Simard.
AHHH! Totally recommend the Samurai and Ninja research & writings of Antony Cummins! Very solid work, the book you picked up is the first of a planned series of translations of scrolls. Two are out so far (I think it's still 2, I don't think the third is out yet). He's also done some good research into the occult/ magical practices of the Samurai, which I think anyone subbed to this channel would be interested in, lol. He also has a TH-cam Channel for those who may be interested. Sadly, my French isn't good enough for the Yokai books. although. It would be a way of making myself brush up!
Oh, nice! Yes, I saw the other one in this series, but had flight weight limits (and let's be honest, a very badly battered bank account!) to consider 😄💸💸💸
As with most of Peter Hamilton Giles' books, I expect a very difficult read, but probably some good content hidden beneath the overly complicated two-page-long dictionary-bait sentences! xD
I couldn’t wait for the review I ended up buying it tonight. I couldn’t help myself. lol. once you start collecting esoteric books especially on the occult and witchcraft the tendency is to push it as far as you can go. I am at 136 and counting not including all the ones i ended up purchasing on line just this past week.(29 in total, just don’t tell my wife). If she finds out I will just blame it on you and your amazing book reviews.
I'd be very surprised if it purported to be an exhaustive survey. I'm expecting Brian's 'take', and as one of today's great alchemists, I expect it will be like a lantern to illuminate other works on the matter.
Hi Denis are you aware of Gemma Gray books on traditional witchcraft. Such as the Black Toad and The Devils Dozen. I purchased the revised addition of Treading the Mill at the beginning of December and Stellas Daemonum in late November. Mmmm book hauls should come with a debit/bank card warning! Lol..ordered a few from this video Including the one mentioned as advised on JSK Facebook page..
