In my opinion, the UNDISPUTED number one worst meta of all time is pre legends fest 2022 , Blue Beast , Pan and Future Gohan was the best team at that time , and if you did not have them , just delete the game bro. And in fact a lot of people quit legends because of that era. My second worst is probably pre 4th anniversary with the release of Ultra kaioken , with no reds in the meta , if you didn't have Ultra Kaioken , you just can't play the game , he locks strikes , destroys greens and blues , recovers vanish , high combo potential thanks to the infinite green cards and on top of that he hits SO DAMN HARD, i was rocking usg , revival gohan and blue bois at the time and i couldn't even win one match against UL Kaioken.

I still got PTSD from the Vegito blue summons in the 2th anniversary, like i grinded the whole damn event and didnt even got him ones at that time... pvp was really a frustration to play back then, i was done with the game for 2 years after that.

FSK Gohan gives me PTSD till this very day. I suffered on the LF Super Vegito meta and was blessed with the LF Vegito Blue one, but oh boy, i wasn't expecting a complete apocalipse after that. You couldn't do anything against this guy! He's in a Son Family/Super Saiyans build? Fucking Bardock and Nameku. He's the last man standing? Cry your tears, his ultimate doens't give a fuck, it will one shot you no metter the color of your character.
My least favorite meta was UVB (it wasn’t gohan since I was able to pull him). I started playing when the DB campaign was around and then Broly was my first ultra (aged pretty well). Then ultra janemba came out and he and broly are still my favorites to this day. Until I was able to get janemba I always got destroyed by UVB and the players always destroyed your rising rush and double rushed you. Not only that but he literally just sat there and waited for you to attack so he could use his damn green card. I’m so happy I got janemba because I would’ve had to deal with that pain for a little longer.
The meta where people paired up rathan and S17 genuinely wanted to make me delete the game no other meta that ive experienced has even come close to that

They will also drop more units with endurance and buff cancelation effect meaning that his ultimate will get nerfed heavily, while gohan does a lot more compared to g4. He can nullify enemy buff effects on big moves, can support, remove vanish on main, get vanish back on ult and green and has an endurance cancelling blue card.
Yeah UG4 will have a good run but Ulthan is literally built to age like a god. He does literally *everything* and you don't even have to lift a finger to get his gauge filled. The fact that they unironically dropped him alongside God Goku thinking they were even remotely on the same level is insane.
Fraud allegations tbh g4 one of the immortal ultras he’s gonna age like wine js like vb and vb is just goated with no counter gauge and g4 is busted and has one of the most op counter gauges in the game he’s aging like fine wine brutha
UG4 is by far more annoying than any other unit. A unique gauge with no counterplay which also has some tech that can allow him to do a free lock in rush that the opponents can't escape from, AOE lock in green card, type neutral ult that does 5 million damage, has higher damage than any meta unit currently, and he has extremely toxic teams. You can lock in an opponent after they use a vanish when they pop UG4's gauge and just rush with FSV. Need i mention LF omega shenron who can pop in any time you attempt to get rid of UG4? No other meta has anything like that. UG4 truly makes skill become a literal non factor in a pvp match. I've mastered UG4's toxic tech alongside quick rushes with FSV and omega tanking everything. My opponents usually get overwhelmed and forfiet the moment i rush or ult them.

@Shadepng Longevity doesn't really mean anything. It just means that a particular meta stayed around for a long time. FSK isn't really an annoying unit like UG4. UG4 just uses his gauge to get privileges that no other character gets and can pair his abilities with other units to create some of the most unfair tactics in this game's history. In some scenarios, those tactics have no counterplay. If UG4 pops his ult, he can kill a character and then do the tech to do a free FSV rush on the enemy and he can even do the tactic a 2nd time just to do a free LF on the opponent. As long as the opponent can't switch, the tactic has no counterplay. FSK was never capable of anything like that.

May be a surprising answer, but for me, BY FAR the worst time to ever play this game was the month long period where LF Cooler was dominant. He literally just spammed strike cards, and killed everything. If you were caught in a combo by him, it was 50/50; either he drops, and you predict it and vanish, or he doesnt drop, and you cover change. In either scenario though, if you guessed wrong, the unit you had against him was 100% dead with 0 counterplay.

Just to add on the red ssj2 zenkai gohan meta, but the zenkai meta, my god his team was absolutely broken zenkai ssj3 goku and zenkai nameku would be run with him, and if you didn't have any of them you were better off not playing, and this was back when zenkais were needed to be summoned for 27k cc, they werent givin out for free at this time, actually the most unplayable meta ever

As someone who only started playing around the original blue bros drop, I don’t think you did a good job explaining why the old metas were so bad. You just kept saying that the units were dominant and they did lots of damage but that doesn’t really say a lot about the meta. I think it would be helpful if you actually explained the meta instead of just saying it was bad, kind of like what you did with the holy trinity meta. K so I started playing around the tail end of 4th anni. Legends Fest 2022 rolls around, and I pull my Tag 4s, and become a GT main. I was already getting slapped around by the DBS Super Hero team, but to add on UGB was salt in the wound. Then, it was UVB. Then, it was Rathan. Personally, I’d rank UVB above all else. UVB made me hate this dumb game. I didn’t really have many units (as a GT main) to deal with his bullshit. P.S. please toshi give us a unique for the Tag 4s, I miss them
Gogeta blue meta wasn't even that bad with beast and rose, at least competitively, casually dude they were not having fun. Bc damn no casual is actually gonna learn the gogeta matchup and respect the gauge fill, same with Vegito blue meta. Surprised the og Regen meta or blue broly meta didn't make the list tho, they were definitely more dominant than half this list and just as unfun
Now, I just thought about This, So, After ULTRA Super Gogeta came to the game as The 1st Summonable ULTRA Rarity Unit, having 2 Ultimate Arts Cards doing damage and Whatnot as well as you mentioning ULTRA Gogeta Blue being one of The WORSE Metas on your list, A Honorable Mention for me is ULTRA Rosé Goku Black because he NOT ONLY can also draw 2 Ultimate Arts Cards but He can inflict Paralyze/Poison so on and so forth; If you didn't have him then you were screwed

but i didn't get any of the ultras to pull just UG4
Just to add on the red ssj2 zenkai gohan meta, but the zenkai meta, my god his team was absolutely broken zenkai ssj3 goku and zenkai nameku would be run with him, and if you didn't have any of them you were better off not playing, and this was back when zenkais were needed to be summoned for 27k cc, they werent givin out for free at this time, actually the most unplayable meta ever

As someone who only started playing around the original blue bros drop, I don’t think you did a good job explaining why the old metas were so bad. You just kept saying that the units were dominant and they did lots of damage but that doesn’t really say a lot about the meta. I think it would be helpful if you actually explained the meta instead of just saying it was bad, kind of like what you did with the holy trinity meta. I understood why that one was bad because you explained it but the rest just didn’t make sense to me

K so I started playing around the tail end of 4th anni. Legends Fest 2022 rolls around, and I pull my Tag 4s, and become a GT main. I was already getting slapped around by the DBS Super Hero team, but to add on UGB was salt in the wound. Then, it was UVB. Then, it was Rathan. Personally, I’d rank UVB above all else. UVB made me hate this dumb game. I didn’t really have many units (as a GT main) to deal with his bullshit.

Gogeta blue meta wasn't even that bad with beast and rose, at least competitively, casually dude they were not having fun. Bc damn no casual is actually gonna learn the gogeta matchup and respect the gauge fill, same with Vegito blue meta. Surprised the og Regen meta or blue broly meta didn't make the list tho, they were definitely more dominant than half this list and just as unfun
You never mentioned LF cooler and the LOE meta one of the WORST metas ever in this game or the mono purple meta which was pretty goated

A Honorable Mention for me is ULTRA Rosé Goku Black because he NOT ONLY can also draw 2 Ultimate Arts Cards
but
He can inflict Paralyze/Poison so on
and so forth; If you didn't have him then you were screwed
i didnt even played any of these meta expect for a few.

nah for me ultra rathan meta should have been in the list, every match i played during that time was against that mf and every single time i did something my units gets one shoted by a counter blue card or trap in a long combo bc of the green card and i dont want to talk about his gauge
