There’s a beautiful & nice young woman at my design/build job who is not much talented but her taste has refined and she is persistent and entrepreneurial. When she’s in her 40s I bet she’ll be very successful. In this business you pretty much do the same thing & use products again and again with a little innovative tweak with each job. So just sheer numbers and repetition and nice to deal with, will make her successful. But it is stressful and tough work and long hours. Ppl always say to me oh that’s so nice you renovate kitchens and baths and interiors. No it’s tough and busy. It’s not just picking pretty things. And there are some unsavory clients you have learn how to handle.
