- In this bass fishing video we go big worm fishing on the river and get surprised with a record day! This is by far my best day of big worm fishing, we ended off the day with nearly 50 fish catches. That's the exact same set up I always use. 3/8 tungsten weight and the ol monster. It's universal, works everywhere.

I use the 7 inch worm as my go to bait here in NY. So many ways you can use it. Curly tail grubs work great as well. Another amazing video!

Hey Noah: You cast so accurately, good job. As for the reclaimed EWG with no line on it, I think you should be using Palomar Knot instead (they almost never fail).
I know everyone likes the palomar knot but I've started using a snell knot for the last year and I haven't had one break off yet. I also have a little better hook up ratio...I do like the palomar for braid though
He’s talked about his in past videos.. he mentioned he sometimes uses it but mostly uses uni.. they are about equal in strength.. plus IMO uni is way faster to tie, especially when dealing with like passing the palomer loop over big things with skirts like jigs and chatterbaits etc.. that loop always gets all tangled in the skirt and it’s just a pain in the ass sometimes lol. Another issue I run into with palomar knots are the use a lot more of your leader length than uni and traditional knots

Good tip on the markers! Im newish and didnt even know those existed lol. I used googan mondos and a brush hog today and didnt catch shit
If you’re pond fishing the best bait ive found to use is worms with a dark body and a red tail that’s what I use and catch about every time I fish a pond but I’ve used the Googan bandito bug and have caught a few on them
But every area is different that’s what I found works best for me
