Thanks for sharing , I’ve looked for this video and nowhere to be found. Little Tracie Spencer with the big voice . I wonder why the actual video is nowhere to be found
I wish the youth of this world could have more young role models in their age group like this. The songs Tracie sung were very inspirational pieces...also Shanice was popular, fun, and inspirational during that time as well. They kept their youthful essence and their voices were dynamic. Those were the days!
I remember being 13yo and hoping people would order this video on The Jukebox Network. I didn't understand the lyrics but THAT VOICE and THAT SOUL was all I needed to know. Also, after being raised on the video live-singing version, I was disappointed in the album version. Tracie let it FLY in the video!
Every time I hear imagine I sing her version in my head. While I will always love Lennon's original, she really did justice to the song. I recorded this video on vhs back in the day and would watch it over and over again. Thanks for posting.
she performed @ Universal Studios in Orlando at their very first Halloween Horror Night which was mostly for the employees back in 1991....she was very good!
This was the first version of this song that I ever heard. I didn't know about John Lennon version then. I love both versions. Tracy's version has a touch of soul it.
i wish i could've been there! apparently, she had a great reputation for being an excellent singer live. that's all that matters to a true recording artist.
Yeah...no problem and I totally co-sign. She did do the song justice...particularly the live version the EMI uploaded when she was older and she to' it up! You gotta check that out if you haven't already. God bless!

Maybe took down
Me too! I couldn't remember the lyrics but I had memories of her in a blazer with her hair pulled back
The best remake of this song.
She did that.
AMEN😁🎉

No disrespect to the late John Lennon.⚘ Tracie tore it with soul!👏🏾 Bob Marley's grandson Elijah had sung this as well.👍🏾

Living her life out in anonymity. Great song. Her version is forgotten by the masses, but the fans still prefer this one over John Lennon's version.

Her name, backwards, is a 🎥 star.
