I think they're giving nods to movies with Camellya. Her splash art of her lying in a sea of red flower petals resembles the movie poster for American Beauty -- a movie about... daddy issues. And the scene where she's collapsed on her knees in the rain is the most iconic scene of Flashdance -- the main character, like Camellya, is a dancer.
