Have you ever considered moving your structube shelf to the right hand side of your fireplace? The height of it is closing off your living room, and putting it on the other side will make the space seem bigger. If you swapped the fuzzy chair with the shelf I swear it will look so bomb!

Home Depot carry’s a semi frost glass spray can that you can spray your glass for more privacy.
