@@safeyaaaaa no, it didn't work for us. I used organic chia seeds and none of the seeds sprouted. I did what the video did and nothing.

Creo que antes de aplicar la chía en la cascara la hidrató en agua ya que asi toma un aspecto gelatinoso y se adhiere mejor

I thought the plants dried due to the competition for nutrition and space between them but I noticed that the person stopped watering them in the last few days.

This is absolutely amazing! Too bad, that they died in the end, but I suppose that their life circle just came to the end. And congratulations with the super beautiful music chosen for this clip. Thanks to it i had to watch this several times, hoping that they wont die XD
I don't think that their live circle ended. He just stopped watering them. Chia plants can grow multiple feet tall and then sprout blue/purple flowers. But then he'd need a much bigger egg.

Anyone want to explain to me why it died so suddenly? Does it simply reach its full potential and then wither away? Did he stop watering it? Although I don’t have experience with chia seeds/plants… I do have a decent amount of knowledge of plants in general and have many myself, but in my opinion, most plants don’t just suddenly die completely in a 3-4 day time frame unless something goes wrong.
Anyone who knows what they are talking about, please chime in here. Thanks!

Думаю, что чем больше растение, тем больше надо ему воды и питания. Их много на одном месте сразу. Если даже одно растение стоит без пересадки в горшке долго, без подкормки то и оно зачахнет, хоть сколько его ни поливайте.
How can a adult plant sustain without proper amount of nutrition... With water only how long can it survive think about it... And there were so many plants for small amount of water ... If those plants were provided with soil then it was possible for them to survive

These were chia seeds. Like basil and flax seeds, they produce mucilage naturally when they come into contact with water. It creates a sticky, slimy film that allows the seeds to retain moisture, and they tend to clump together.

If you ever feel really hungry but want to avoid calories try this... soak chia seeds overnight in any liquid you like, I use low fat milk. Store in a tub in the fridge for up to three days. Pop as much as you like into a bowl or glass, add fruit, yogurt, milk, chocolate chips, caramel sauce... whatever you fancy. You then have a very tasty, filling drink, smoothie or snack.

Why did you stop refilling the water after day 54 and leave it to die?
I had the same question.
Why did you stop giving it water at the end? It completely died without water! On day 53 there was no more water. How many more days would it have taken for all of it to die naturally instead of dying of thirst? 😢😢😢
Probably just run out of "energy" reserve that it has on the seed.
You should then plant on earth in the day 30 or before they die. At least it is what I imagine
I think this indicates When you are old your stomach is unable to digest that's somewhat similar to inability of consumption this is the cause of death, you are correct

I too wondered the same. I did not like that ending because it was like they were robbed of what they needed to thrive and were recorded as they died for entertainment.

Because they need more nutrition as they grow which is not probably possible with just water. They need to be planted in soil to stay alive.

They are normally jelly and sticky
It's mixed with water, when you keep them in the water for a while it will become like jelly n sticky.
