You didn’t add promise to the texts. Faith is believing a promise from God that we hear or read in his text. he spoke it in Romans 4 Abraham’s believed Gods promise and it was counted as righteous. Our promises now are, being save by trusting that Jesus died for our sins, that we are sinners, and we will die but be resurrected after death, other promises: receiving inheritance, being given peace, joy, love, patience etc. content.
