One of the things i always loved about atlantis the disney movie were those glowing rock keys. This gave me a good idea for a diy. Blue saphire pendant with a small rfid chip inside. When put into a keyhole. An LED from the keyhole lights it up. Maybe use it for something to "power up" my computer, desk or something. Glowing circuitry coming from the pendant,etc.
Ok, I know this is older and you may not reply - but, I have made my own molds using the silicone method and everything comes out dull and nearly sticky. It's not my resin mix. Is that what you did at the end? Coated them both in a free form layer of resin? I love your work btw!!
and why did you pure the resin in the mold and then out sorry for all the questions i'm thinking of makeing something like this for a freind for cristmas:)
Does anybody know where i can find the hexagon silver “tops” to hang the resin crystal from? Like the ones on the real crystal necklaces? Help i cant find them! :p thnx :)

Do you pour the epoxy resin straight from the bottle into the mold or do you put something else into the resin before you put it into the mold?
N Lachmann most definitely into something else first, just to mix the two parts of the epoxy. Then when it's mixed you pour it into the mold

dont know why he called it solder water but use fulx. you can get that and the copper foil from stained glass suppliers
