The fact that you were able to stay persistent during the whole process given covid/supply chain issues is awesome. Enjoy the fruits of your labor & buy a nice chair to enjoy that view when you want to reminisce on the hardships of building the house.
Def need videos down the road showing the obstacles u encountered with the house building. Many have a similar dream but don’t know how hard it can get
You don't need the club. Under your steering column there's a cable you can pull out and loop around the wheel and padlock it. There's a high idle switch next to it under the wheel. The cable is to the right tucked in. It's about 2 feet long
Got my first house at 26 and my story was EXACTLY the same as yours, even after being in the house the process brought me to tears many times. I also had to sleep in my closets for the first week too. So many nights of sheer frustration. To this day even though it has become a rental property I wonder if it was worth it.
Yeah the trauma of this and how frustrating it was is hard to shake off. A bit sad to hear that you're still not able to smell the flowers on it because I worry if that will be the same fate for me too
Thank you for sharing your experience. It would be great if you could make another video to go into even more detail of this whole ordeal. Good or bad, there are lots of us out here that would love to hear it.
I have an 1165a1 myself. You actually still have some armor plates in the truck. Driver inner footwell behind the insulation and also probably the passenger side as well. Probably still has the armor behind the passenger AC as well.
Hey Eric, longtime sub here! I actually bought your Sony A6300 a few years ago and you gave my friend and I a ride in your AE86 back in the day.. Still have it in my closet as my first camera haha Anways, curious to see if you still have the C2S! Hoping to see more of your videos and good luck!
Sorry to hear of the troubles with them home project. The house looks great, and I hope you can begin to enjoy the fruits of your labor in the future. Any chance we'll get a few videos of the house in the future?
I think the reason the house build is so stressful for you is because you expect nothing less than perfection. Most people would have just said "thats okay" and moved on, but you made sure it was done 100% right the first time, just like most of your automotive builds.
True, some things were just plain not done or done wrong... but most things were me trying to get 100%. I painted the walls in the house 5 different times already
…’been waiting for this vid! 😀 Edit: same timeline fam…my gf of 2 years broke things off to start the year. I’m not building a dream home but I am undertaking a couple projects right now so I can identify to some degree.

Thanks... almost would have to say I didn't have much of a choice

I've been wanting to do it, but still can't seem to get things finished. As soon as that happens, and I can get a break, I will do it
@@CornerBalanced No rush. Looks fantastic from what I could see in this video. Congrats!
Cool project! .... We are developing a new center console for the turbo humvees. And a new dash for modern gauges.

@@CornerBalancedat least it's oil cooled, doesn't mind sitting : )
What dream would it be, if it didnt drain all your energy, money, time and mental health?
So true
Do you still own the 911 ?
I got a new project for you if you're interested, It's 1991 Turbo 2 rx7 FC black only has 19k miles - Your viewers would love it
Custom house not worth it. I thought about years ago.
Hahaha you should live in a house that you're renovating. Same stories.
Alright bro, thanks for the ae86 content I subbed to you for. But this shit just ain’t for me anymore. Good luck with whatever your goals are.
