    We will be processing our Cornish crosses this weekend! Your Cornish look amazing! Ours are going to be a bit larger than we had planned…. But that’s ok! They sure do will be tasty!!!

    I love watching the chonky babies run 🥺 I've never owned chickens but I think they should be treated like any other chicken. I think Cornish cross are precious 🥰

      Yes, they're treated very well and enjoy a good life.

    As long as your animals are healthy and happy, never apologize for how you raise them. Question though, do you find the meat is tougher from them running around more?

    What happens if you don’t harvest them at week 8-9?

      We just wait and do it another time. Preferably not long once they reach the desired weight.

    We all need to have discussions that open up the dialogue so that people understand why we do the things we do I’ve never raised Cornish cross chickens before so I won’t be putting my opinion in on this

      As a consumer I think you can be a part of the dialogue. I think it's important for not only the folks raising the food to have input but also allow space for those who consume the product, if that makes sense.
