It's with great pleasure to me that your videos are now on this channel. I so relate the way the teaching is given. I am particularly happy that so much is based on the books of C S Lewis as in the past l have had difficulty in understanding C S Lewis' books. Now they are being opened up for me. I so relate the way you are bringing the Bible to us and your way of teaching.
I usually like your videos, though I don't agree with everything that is being said, I'm usually encouraged greatly. So thank you for that! I would caution though how some things have been stated in this video as if, if believers aren't finding rest, or favor, or peace, etc, that they are somehow missing God's presence. Which is not possible as a believer as we are sealed with Holy Spirit. God is always with us. To state that if we see others in honor while we are not can only mean they have God's presence and we do not, just sounds crazy. The scripture completely contradict that statement. Jesus was/is the very presence of God. majority of people didn't treat Him with honor. Majority of people didn't treat Him with favor. There was not peaceful circumstances in His life after He started His ministry. Or any of the other apostles for that matter. All of which suffered and died for their beliefs. This video was well intentioned, but missed the mark greatly. I'd suggest taking it down, or at the very least, changing how you stated things. This video may be encouraging to people who are already honored, favored, and at peace with everyone around them, but for everyone else who isn't experiencing those things, this video causes them to question whether God is really with them. We are greatly blessed with God's presence all the time. We cannot leave His presence and He will not leave us, as we are His home. Favor from others, honor, peace, etc, are all good things, but they do not in and of themselves prove God's presence. Knowing that God's presence is always with us will strengthen us to get through the hard times when we aren't being favored, honored, at peace, etc. Those are moments that we should lean on God and be thankful that even if we aren't getting those things on earth, we are still getting them from Him. Christ is honoring us, favoring us, giving us His peace, etc. Blessings to anyone who reads this. You are loved, and God is always with you. May the Grace and Love of Christ fill you completely! Interesting. The favor and value at my job is for the non-believers. There are two of us who are believers and both of us are unheard, overlooked, and taken advantage of. I have questioned God in this. Those not seeking Him are the favored ones by man. Can anyone provide insight??
There were twelve apostles to the Jews with gifts for their time, in God's time and then Paul was apostle to the gentiles. There is no need for apostleship thereafter. I am unsubscribing from your channel. If you have never been with Jesus or witnessed His ministry, crucifixion, burial and resurrection, you don't get to appoint yourself an apostle. What you may be is a saint, but so am I and so are we. Using C.S. Lewis to draw subscribers while you are practicing a distortion . . . I have caught it, sir.
