One thing I like to do when starting a new Minecraft world is that after securing and setting up base in a cave, I build my house ON TOP of the cave and then excavate the cave and turn it into the house's basement. After all, if you're going to be living in a cave for a while, you might as well make it part of your permanent home.

When I mine, I mark my right with torches, light big rooms on the floor and important entrances get marked with 3 torches in a line. Which means I usually use the same entrance every time unless the cave system has several entrances :3

my absolute favorite mod to pair with pam's is "spice of life". spice of life makes it so every few unique foods you eat, you get an extra heart, and it comes with a book to keep track of everything. pair this with any challenging combat/exploration mod, and it gives a huge incentive to cook different recipes. It takes a bit of tweaking to get right with all the recipes in pam's, but it's really satisfying.

I have watched quite a lot of 100 days videos and I have to say I have never found one that filled me with so much satisfaction and happiness that this did at the end. It was relaxing, calm and funny, whereas most 100 days I see, its all about fight tonnes of insane bosses, or conquering new dimensions or mastering certain abilities. This feels like such a Dad kind of Modded Minecraft gameplay. Love the Pam's harvest craft! How about a challenge of a full year. Like 12 months in game days. 3 months of summer 2 months of autumn 4 months of winter 3 months of spring. Or something like that. Survival and no greenhouse during winter/ or just limited. Could be cool. Drying racks to prepare meat, and other for preparation of winter. A temp mod that makes it hot or cold during the season, would give it more of a challenge. Dam- now I want to do that, if I only could get the mods. 😂
ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS!!! Harvest craft is one of my all-time favorite mods and not many ppl use it!!! It was so nice to see it being played again and i seems to have updated a lot since i last saw it!!! The greenhouse gave me stardew valley vibes and this is just overall a really peaceful and entertaining video!!
A man after my own heart, against pears and loves dark oak and spruce, PLUS a similar build style. I also love that you spent the first bit just building your house. A tip for the future, for the second floor use slabs instead of whole bricks. It makes the planks last longer and from below the logs look like beams!
My preferred playstyle is very similar to yours lol, spend too long making a pretty house, then spend my days farming instead of adventuring (I often play on peaceful too, just for extra relaxation). Pam's and Mr Crayfish are such a good mod combo! This is the first video I've seen on the channel and I'll definitely be checking out your other ones :)

45:35 There are cornflowers that can be made into blue dye. Find one of those, plant it somewhere, and bonemeal it. Should make duplicates like crazy, even with Pam's Harvestcraft.
1.18 has these huge good looking caves but for the early game these caves aren't that good. I wouldn't go in there without any armor. On the other side for the late game with netherite stuff these giant iron and gold veins ( gold veins only in mesa biomes ) are just cool. However I will stick to 1.7.10 and 1.12.2

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS!!! Harvest craft is one of my all-time favorite mods and not many ppl use it!!! It was so nice to see it being played again and i seems to have updated a lot since i last saw it!!! The greenhouse gave me stardew valley vibes and this is just overall a really peaceful and entertaining video!!

A tip for the future, for the second floor use slabs instead of whole bricks. It makes the planks last longer and from below the logs look like beams!

My preferred playstyle is very similar to yours lol, spend too long making a pretty house, then spend my days farming instead of adventuring (I often play on peaceful too, just for extra relaxation). Pam's and Mr Crayfish are such a good mod combo!

If your not using the Hunger in Peace mod, give it a shot. It'll give your farm a purpose.

A tip for horses if in Minecraft after feeding them don’t hold out your weapon while trying to ride them other else it won’t let you

There are cornflowers that can be made into blue dye. Find one of those, plant it somewhere, and bonemeal it. Should make duplicates like crazy, even with Pam's Harvestcraft.

1.18 has these huge good looking caves but for the early game these caves aren't that good. I wouldn't go in there without any armor. On the other side for the late game with netherite stuff these giant iron and gold veins ( gold veins only in mesa biomes ) are just cool. However I will stick to 1.7.10 and 1.12.2
